Enjoyable mission - as other reviews I disabled the cap ship to destroy at the end and that seemed to work out well :)
Pretty good free mission here. It's balanced and still a challenge when played on hard, but not impossible to complete. You do need to keep your wits in order to destroy all the enemy Y-Wings and the missile equipped Starchasers can be a extreme bother.
The officer briefing had a nice little bit of fluff to help get you familiar with the mission. The map briefing was adequate as well. The mission itself was pretty simple, kill all the things. Also, don't forget to disable the dread so you can kill it later. I managed to kill almost every ship, though nothing really was shooting back at me.
Pretty easy mission, even on hard. I made sure to disable the DREAD early on in case it tried to run. Otherwise, shoot down all the enemy fighters and destroy the DREAD.
As many other missions, the idea behind it is good the execution is bad. Why is the Dreadnaught arriving with only 50% shields for example... on hard? :( Fly it for completion, it's brief and easy. Shame, because such missions could be a lot better with just a bit more effort and testing.
This was a fun mission. Nothing too original - protect a few cargo ferries while they dock with two interdictors, from Y-wings and R-41's chasing you. But the action kicks in right away and doesn't stop until all the enemy craft are gone. It's a challenge to beat the fighters fast enough to take out the dreadnaught which is the secondary objective. It was a fun challenge on Hard difficulty.
Average mission yet fun to fly, about protecting several capital ships and stations from an unexpected attack of a DREAD and her complement of fighters. Simple and quick to deal with the opposition while the docking operations to complete the mission will take some time. Thankfully, there is time compression in this universe. Worth a try and a simple FCHG point for the sack.
SOme messages appear before the events. TOo simple and extremelly easy. Zero challenge.
Excellently made and I had fun flying it. Nothing was extraordinary, but I just enjoyed it.
