This battle has some good missions and some tedious of the never-cured disease of assigning the player the most inadequate fighter in the wrong kind of mission. Bringing 3 FRGs on an A-Wing just felt too much. It turned out boring and finger blistering. The bright side of this battle however resides in the player's availability of B-Ws several times. The triple ion cannon is hard to beat. The plotline is not all bad, and has a variety of roles, but the Y-W mission and the A-W becoming a heavy bomber, are a couple of big 'no-please!'. Be prepared for a string tied to your trigger and lots of patience.
Come on I’d rather have a ‘Root Cannel’ job rather then have to fly that battle ever again.
Probably one of the best IW Battles I've flown in a long time.
One of the finest custom battles I have played. Challenging missions, good plot, plenty of scope for innovation and experimentation when playing them. Surprisingly good all round.
Not bad not bad at all
I enjoyed this battle. Pure strike and offensive attack. My kind of battle.

Title : Karana Killzone Author : IWTAC/EM Proton Platform : X-wing vs. TIE Fighter: Balance of Power Number of missions : 6 Medal : Gold Karana Cross Required patches ---------------- * EH Ship Patch for BoP Installation instructions -------------------------- 1] Make sure you have the EH Ship Patch for BoP installed 2] Double click the .EHM file, the EH Battle Launcher will install the battle 3] Check the Misc folder in your BoP one for additional material like patches, sounds etc. 4] Press the Balance of Power button on the EHBL to start the game 5] Create a new pilot and fly the Imperial training missions Introduction ------------ The Infiltrator Wing moves to the Karana system near the edge of Emperor's Hammer space and close to the contested Minos Cluster. First order of business: Sweep the sector of all remaining pirates, gunrunners, blackmarketeers and Rebels in hiding. This six-mission battle features the heavy firepower of the IW brought to full bear against all who stand in the way of our total control of the Karana system. Mission 1 Silver Squadron’s A-wings and X-wings must hyperspace in to inspect and destroy remnants of a black market station hidden inside an asteroid belt in the unmonitored border zone between the Karana system and the Minos Cluster. A pirate dreadnaught was reported by deep sensors three days ago, but no trace of pirates has been seen since. Action: Inspect the platforms, FRTs or whatever, then undergo a surprise attack from pirates from hyperspace and an apparently dead dreadnaught. Mission 2 CRS Saratoga arrives with more IW units to help mop up and capture other pirates detected in the area. Also, break up a Rebel rescue operation. Mission 3 Three frigates of Minos Gunrunner Warlord Nar’Sala jump into the area to surprise the Saratoga. The IW capital ship and its starfighter groups must stave off the frigates and several assault transports, buying time until MC-90 Bismarck and its heavy forces arrive. Mission 4 The Bismarck, the Saratoga and their starfighters launch an all-out attack against the remaining frigates and many other pirate, gunrunner and even Rebel forces that have arrived sensing an opportunity to kill the IW even before it moves into Karana. Mission 5 Using the dark-side cunning of the IW’s Command Staff, two elite squadrons of IW starfighters have been hidden in some old supply barges very near a major Gunrunner and Rebel staging base and warehousing operation further into the Minos Cluster. Y-wing Intruder (the pilot) will hyper into the area to attract attention of the Rebels and the Gunrunners, enabling the hidden X-wings and A-wings to strike from the rear. As the Bismarck and the Saratoga arrive, IW units destroy everything with a hostile IFF. Mission 6 Having devastated the enemy’s forces bordering the Karana system and the Minos Cluster, the IW prepares to move into the Karana system proper and begin its takeover of the entire system for use as the future long-term base of the IW. But, first, several Gunrunner and pirate commanders, including the arrogant Warlord Nar’Sala, must be rounded up, captured, interrogated, tortured and executed.
