I am admittedly a bit of a Frodo fanboy, so I am predisposed to enjoy his creations, but this one is fun! Fairly straight for a Frodo battle, but well executed and enjoyable all around

Short, easy and sweet ! The plotline's straightforward and well delivered, the missions are engaging. Particularly enjoyable is the capital ship brawl in the final mission.

My forty-eighth battle in the TIE Corps.

A decent battle, despite flying an unshielded TIE Interceptor. The missions are somewhat tricky, enough to put the player on edge (you never know if a bad shot or collision will get you) but easy enough and not frustrating. For the craft choice, the missions are reasonably well designed. I always enjoy a good capital ship brawl, and there's plenty of turbolaser fire exchanged in the last two missions. The engagements are a bit simplistic, but there's just enough to worry about without being overwhelming. The first mission is probably the weakest, and the last is a bit anticlimactic in terms of action, but otherwise decent for casual play.

Felt this battle was a little tedious, and with quite a few holes in the mission design (prime example - T/I's protecting capital ships until they hyper for two missions, and then being left with no mothership to return to both times) Also, how exactly does the player go from being themselves the whole way through, to suddenly being the DGM in the last mission, that part made no sense whatsoever to me.

A good battle though challenging at some points due to flying mainly unshielded craft. Its certainly awesome when you get to fly a T/A though..and you get to feel a bit more secure. Its good fun though dodging without shields and makes the missions different. Getting blown up lets you get zapped by the Dark Jedi in the debriefing which is pretty funny. Not to mention that station full of Gremlins!

It's OK, I have to admit that I'm not a massive fan of "funny" mission designs but this one balances humor with gameplay. The flight officers comments are amusing and the missions are very flyable. Lots of action and a variety of mission profiles to kkep you interested. I'm afraid it's not one I'd refly just for fun, but good none the less.

A very interesting battle, indeed, with plenty of opportunities to get great scores. The Flight Officer inspires pitty to say the least but having flown other battles from Frodo I missed some more humour strikes. Technically is very good although not impressive (not some Beef's extravaganza anyway). It features unshielded craft and I LOVE them, but it's somewhat easy overall, even on Hard, since almost nobody goes after you until the last mission where you fly a T/A. Apart from that, only to comment that in the first mission is very hard to get the Rebel ATR arriving and completing the Primary Goals at the same time; it only happens (at least to me) when, oddly, a previously disabled Transport can finally reach the Platform's Hangar (true story... inertia? :P). Note that the DGM talked about an Imperial ATR in the "Lose Briefing", not a Rebel one.

Well constructed missions, all the missions but the last decent introduction missions for someone new to flying EH Battles. The last mission was quite drawn out with the capital ship battle as the Rebel ships weren't all destroyed in one pass and I had to wait (not too long thanks to time compression) for the ship (CRL) to turn around and get destroyed, might be too much of a wait if it was a XvT or XWA mission, but it works for TIE. Excellent Battle!

Very interesting story line. In the first mission, you just need to stay aware of what is happening to beat it. In the second, it is almost a race against the clock if you are trying to get out fast. Those annoying T-wings...! The third is interesting to say the least. Dog fighting at its best. The final mission is a load of fun. Few fighters to deal with and just a bunch of cap ships. Nice and easy fight. I only had a bit of trouble in mission 2 (wingmen sucked big time).

This one is very easy unless you want to get good scores. I found especially the first mission annoying since the Rebels flew imperial craft and you had to let them alone for a while in order for your own secondary goals to work. I hate missions where I have to actually play bad to get it to work. The second mission was better in that respect, although one has to wonder, first, if it is really effective for anyone to create a *stationary* gravity well to intercept an enemy convoy, and, second, why the hell they didn't even get close to having enough firepower to actually deal with their "prey". Stupidest waylayers ever. It was also a nice touch how, in the end, your fleet jumps to lightspeed leaving you alone and stranded in your T/I. The battle should have been over at that point. :P In the third mission, it's annoying that so many enemy fighters die by crashing (especially on TIE-CD, but still enough on TIE-95), so there is a huge factor of luck involved. If you want a decent score here, be prepared to repeat this mission quite a lot. The last mission was a piece of cake... not that I want to complain, but it was a little anti-climatic. It is a pain, however, if you want to play it on TIE-CD because there are too many cap ships around (flicker problem). All in all, it is a nice battle, easy if you just want to finish it and a challenge if you want good scores. It is also nice that it works without super fighters and the briefings are good... the clueless briefing officer is funny but it's getting old fast. The bad thing is that the story doesn't make a lot of sense (especially in mission 2), that there is an awful lot of luck involved in some of the missions and that it is harder to do on TIE-CD than on TIE-95. So you probably shouldn't use this one for comps.

A little bit of Frodo humor as usuall. The clueless flight officer was a nice touch.

TIE is one of my favs as it is all about the Empire and Frodo brings it alive with his missions. Flying a shieldless craft helps keep me on my toes and makes me fly alittle better. The goofy FL is all Frodo.

As far as TIE battles go this one is alright & features a lot of dogfighting & cap ship bombing runs. If I recall correctly this battle was created for the last ehDB Vendetta "the Return of Akumvah" (however that's spelled);p.

This battle is adequate as far as Frodo's battles go, nothing real special. I especially enjoyed the ignorance of the flight officer.

A great battle as usual from Frodo! One of the better TIE Battles, too bad he doesnt do more :P

I enjoyed it very much. You have to sweat if you want to get good scores, otherwise mother ships just get killed and you lose a lot of kill points because of missing flights of enemies. I also liked flying the shieldless craft in a scenario that it's not impossible to stay alive. Very good battle, Frodo!

Not bad at all, considering how limited TIE is in general. The dopey Flight Officer definitely gives away that this was wrought by Hobbit hands. :P In any case, pretty solid pirate battle. Definitely not the best Frodo battle, but like I said before, the best word to describe this battle is "solid." Also, hooray for avoiding superfighters as much as possible.

A decent battle, but lacking in the usual Frothy humor. Not too difficult, technically well done - Worthy of a four. +)

As far as DB battles go, it wasn't *too* difficult, but you definately need to keep your wits about you at all times.

A great battle, but Frothy made it, so it instantly loses a point. >:P JK Frothy, it just lacks that extra jazzyness to make it a 5.

Wow ! That was one of the best TIE battles. Little easy even on Hard but excellent. Must play !
