I flew this as part of Raise the Flag competition 2021. Overall, the battle seemed straightforward with no major hang-ups. There is not much to say about it. It was fun but the battle did not contain any elements that makes it stand out from nearly every other battle you have ever flown.
Frustrating mission where if you don't have unlimited waves turned off you will only realize it at the very end and have wasted a bunch of time. Enjoyable Frodo missions as usual and the story is always pretty funny. It feels weird playing these after he's no longer around, but I'm sure he was a funny guy.
One of Frodos more entertaining battles! Played this one on easy and it was not overly challenging although mission 4 can be annoying as you need to ensure you take out at least some of the rockets and make use of your wingman in attacking the B-Wings if the facility is to survive.
I played on Easy. These were a very fast set of missions. They were humorous, but present no real challenge on Easy. I'd recommend playing for points real quick, but there's not much of a reason to play this otherwise. Overall, it was decent enough.
Amusing and befitting that Gerald finally gets his story told. I prefer this side of Frodo instead of the Umba Lumpas... as funny as that was. If you don't know what I am talking about it is for the best. You never know what you are going to get with Frodo. This battle lands a bit better than some others.
Finally one gets to know the story of the Hobbit's minion, Gerald. He will become such a nuisance in an invincible T/A, that I actually felt some joy when he went down. The plotline is excellent and the mission is simple and very entertaining. The campaign unfolds accordingly in a variety of craft as you follow the life of the infamous Gerald. A good classic that need to be flown.
Decent missions with that unusual Frodo style. Mission 4 can be tricky, you'll have to intercept the heavy rockets in order to complete the mission. Enjoyable battle.
Nice and simple - not really too difficult - good set of training missions
Gerald doesn't have much of a life....seems to revolve around a Hobbit :D Otherwise good mission, not too hard, not too easy
