As fun or more than the Preceding TC96, the mine-clearing mission is annoying, probably just because I'm fairly green, but otherwise very straightforward, silly fun.

A fun series of missions. Interesting implementation of objectives and mission design. Ultimately I really liked it.

Great sequel. I was tempted to remove a point for the minesweeping mission but it made me step up.
Great battle, great briefings, story and radio missions.

I really really enjoyed this battle, 4th wall breaking battles are the best thing i've seen here. the mine mission not so much, i hate mines! lol, especially the ion mines

my favorite part was the use of all the ships in the ship patcher. very funny.

This has to be so far my favorite mission for this competition RtF 2021, the mine mission was probably the most frustrating but once I figured out what strategy I needed to use it wasn't all that bad ..... plus you finally get to kill off Frodo ..... the guys a fruit cake

I flew this as part of Raise the Flag competition 2021. Of all the XvT battles I have flown this year, both 96 and 99 are easily my two favorite battles. There is only so much you can do in these missions, but the use of game mechanics in these two battles are completely out of left field from everything you have ever flown in XvT. I will likely be revisiting these battles to get ideas for my own battles in the future.

Well when the ISD 'PostAReviewPlease' is so polite, how can you not. I would rate this battle a lot higher but the mines in mission 6 are no fun. Take out the ion ones as quickly as possible, then fly back around and take out the rest. A fun battle otherwise and really, who doesn't play them for the story?

Another one of Frodos insane battles, which as with the others was rather amusing to play. The battle is funny in all the right places but is also a masterpiece of showing off the makers technical skills with flying containers and events triggered by certain actions. There are also some challenging missions such as clearing mines in a T/F and the one where you have to kill 4 A/W before a T/A arrives to kill you.

I played on Easy. I'm not actually sure how this battle got passed testing, honestly. This is closer to a very quick visual novel than it is an actually battle. That said, the storyline is funny and it has some unique mechanics. Dying as a requirement is something I've never seen before.

A continuation of Frodo's review requirement questline. I'm only posting this review because I have to because Frodo said so. If not I'm scared I'm going to have to fight him in his invincible TIE/A again.

Happy deathday. Frodo's battles are always whacky. Even though this particular one is a copycat of his previous creations. Fly it for completion and laughs only, depending on your kind of humour. There's not much else in it.

Is it brilliant or just weird? It's technically perfectly made, but also it's annoyingly strange. Certainly different from anything other then other frodo missions. And weird if I didn't mention it before. (that's 30 words for the RTF point :)

Another brilliant battle from Frodo showing that he's either gone completely mental or should have been accepted into MENSA! The unique humor and interesting objectives are always a treat. I'm just hoping there's a threequel in the battle center for this set.

Same insanity that pervaded 10 Messy missions, has spread the infection over here. The battle is an exercise of style and technical skill of the creator. Crafting a monumental nonsense, just because he had the power to do so. You will encounter the same kind of superlative shenanigans as the previous battle, in a perfectly crafted, full of tricks, a true Mad Hatter, 8 missions. Not the easiest 8 FCHG points, as you will have to take down mines in an unshielded T/F AND shoot down a T/A. However, I must confess I really liked the jokes and made me laugh several times. Killing Gerald has become and addiction, and finally burning down T/A Hobbit after shooting him sooo many times in that invincible (literally, it takes no damage) fighter, felt so good, I may just do that again. If you want stupidly hilarious and different. Do not miss it. If you want a real battle, look elsewhere and stay away from this insanity. It's contagious.

Not less than a 5 for you, Frodo, for being so damned crazy!! Yes, it's true that it's very similar to "10 Mission Mess" and very easy too, even on Hard, but it's funny enough to keep you there just for the sake of it. Not only that but it made me to feel again that nice "I want to kill beta testers just for fun... or maybe Hobbits, I'm not sure... most prolly both!!" thing. Keep the Insanity up, Frodo!! :D

I would have given this one a 1, but I sort of ...hmmm, well it was ok for me. I didn't beta test this one 2x like the original...So I thought it was a nice suprise. When does the 12 mission Prelude come out?

Not a bad set of missions if you like flying in a shieldless TIE (sorry I havn't quite grown out of my IW background just yet- give me a few years);p.

Think I'll also just randomly dump unfinished missions in a zip and call it a battle.

Yes, once again a crappy sequel to an amazing battle, we wonder why it was even made, this battle lacks originality and the actors all got lazy because of the money...the Man who plays Frodo isn't even the same as the 10 mission mess! Still a 4 though. Post a Review.
