A straight dogfight if you want it, on easy at least. I didn't have to use the missiles I brought, but on something more difficult you might have to. The shuttle at the end can take a while to leave, but that shouldn't be a problem if it takes you a sufficient amount of time to kill the fighters.
I played on Easy. This mission has somewhat of a cool concept, even if it's just killing a bunch of starfighters and attacking a Frigate. That said, the goal is to drive the Frigate off and the mission is relatively fun.
Interested to try this on hard. I loved TK's other two battles. This one was ok. Daring to use shieldless TIEs is always nice.
T/I with no shields require guts. Especially when facing one of the most dangerous capital ships, such as the FRG. It will be a slaughter for your brethren unless you remember how to take down the capital ship piece by piece with warheads or well placed shots. Very challenging indeed. But a must for hardcore unshielded lovers of the Space Shoe.
A mission in the good old Tie Interceptor with no shields. It's an average and finishing it without getting killed once can be a challenge. I just think it's stupid to send a squadron of Tie Interceptors against a frigate.

Installation Instructions: 1] Double click the .EHM file, the EH Battle Launcher will install the battle. 2] Check the Misc folder in your XvT one for additional material like patches, sounds etc. 3] Press the X-Wing vs TIE Fighter button to start XvT and fly the battle. Description: During a rare time of peace following the struggle with the rDB, Clan Arcona was left without a home base. A disturbance in the force caused by the rage and betrayal of the rouge Arcona members tainted the very soil of the clan's main planetary headquarters. A feeling of restlessness plagued all who went there. Due to concern that the lingering presence of old clanmates could disturb or corrupt younger recruits, it was decided that finding a new base would be the best solution. The Krath of House Qel-Droma have found a suitable location for our new home by searching through planetary archives. It is a small world called Xorna III, currently claimed by the EH. It is not on the EH-RS boarder, nor is it near any major trade routes. The planet also has above average volcanic activity. For all of these reasons, no EH colony has yet to be established on Xorna III. The planet itself is covered in a dense forest, which grows on and around the many extinct volcanoes. From orbit, it is a ball of green, with occasional black splotches where the volcanic activity is highest. Qel-Droma's Frigate, the Rapier, has been sent to Xorna III to survey a location for the base. A shuttle full of Krath and a few Obelisks is heading towards the surface.
