Battle Reviews

I'm going to be honest - this battle isn't very good. That could easily be solved by letting you take control of your wingmates and using their ordinance, but unfortunately you aren't given that option so you have to slog through it a little bit longer than you should have to. Either way, I flew this on easy, so maybe this is different on hard. The A-Wings went after my cap ship at the end which was unusual, they're normally only looking for a swift end from myself, not a turbolaser. So just keep an eye on them if you're worried.

I played on Easy. This was the first mission in a minute that didn't give you an overwhelming amount of Rockets to kill a capital ship. That said, this mission was still incredibly easy as you have swarms of friendly fighters that kill everything.

COL Genie

Waste of time this one. Very basic idea and not very well executed. Fly it only for completion and points. On with the next mission.

COL Phalk Sturm

Average mission. Dogfight some A-Ws and X-Ws with 200% shields, then sink a CRS. Nothing out of the ordinary, but effective in terms on playability. Simple and classic shoot'em up.

COL Rau Aznable

Standard protection mission with the Tie Advanced, nothing unusual. The challenge only depends on the difficulty you choose.

The Imperial.lst replaces your original files, so back it up!

1] Double click the .EHM file, the EH Battle Launcher will install the battle.
2] Check the Misc folder in your XvT one for additional material like patches, sounds etc.
3] Press the X-Wing vs. TIE Fighter button to start XvT and fly the battle.
- Create a new pilot for the mission based on your name or PIN and the mission number.
For example, SL Stele playing Free Mission 80 would make a new pilot file named "StelFM80."

- Begin flying the first training mission.

The ISD Immortal was given a mission. This mission was to deliver supplies to a Facility in Sector
4-52Y, outside Planet Niak and Planet Greyau. The supplies had to be deliver within 30hrs, so there
wasn't a real rush. While plotting the course they noticed that a Rebel sector was on the route, so
they decided they would venture in and say hello. The ISD Immortal went into hyperspace, and exited
into Rebel space. The Rebels ordered them to leave, and threatened the Imperial vessel. The Immortal
tuanted the Rebels and then left into hyperspace before any Rebel fighters could attack. The ISD
exited into Sector 4-52t and began the mission. They sent out two transports loaded with food and
fuel. The mission was successful! Although... during the mission one of the monkeys onboard the
Immortal had gotten into the Engine Room. He threw a spanner into the engine, causing it to become
disabled. The engine wasn't the only thing damaged, when the engine fried it also disrupted the
shields and knocked them down to 50%. The ISD Immortal had to call for Engine Parts. Unfortunately,
there is a possibility that the Rebels would trace the co-ordinates of the hyperjump and follow.
If the Rebels did follow, then the Immortal would be vulnerable. Phantom Squadron have been sent out
to guard the ship. Hopefully the Rebels won't follow and the ISD Immortal can get back to base.
