Alright little battle with mostly quick missions. The Gunboat mission is a bit what? But it is a Gunboat. What can you expect.
I flew this as part of Raise the Flag competition 2021. Overall, the battle seemed straightforward with no major hang-ups. There is not much to say about it. It was fun but the battle did not contain any elements that makes it stand out from nearly every other battle you have ever flown.
A great all around battle. Mission 4 gave me some trouble only because I didn't read the briefing. The story was quite good, and the missions weren't repetitive. Great job!
Another one of Frodo's more serious missions, but it shows what he is capable of as a mission creator. The dialogue still has good humor in it which is a trademark of his work. I really like his missions and this one is right up there with some of his better work.
I played on Easy. Another quick battle for points. There wasn't much to this. Most mission objectives involved 'kill X% of enemy starfighters' with minor stuff thrown in. It didn't seem like it was anything special, but it was enjoyable and quick.
This is a wonderful battle. Yet again Frodo is not afraid to utilize the components the game puts at his disposal. Also the storyline and humour is more inline with the kind I enjoy. There were a couple of funny inflight lines for example that hit the mark. Do this one justice, fly it on medium or hard and DO read the storyline as it unfolds in the briefing, inflight and debriefing.
I love these excellent battles from Frodo. His plotlines are always exciting and original. The missions are out of the ordinary, and stick closely to the plot, so player can feel a bit confused at times, like the mission in which you have to 'theoretically' kill pirate Tiberius, but it is actually another thing you have to do. The dogfights are nice and there are a lot of different roles, realistically developed in my opinion, almost entirely aboard a T/I, except a bombing mission in one of my favourite craft. The incorrodible and ever-lasting war mule, the Assault Gunboat.
Very nice plot around chasing pirate scum Tiberius. Much fun with reading mission briefing, especially that You can read about some EH legacy players. Missions are various – I like that in most You flight Tie/I. Although in mission #1 remember to wait for an elephant slow cargo shuttle to enter hangar (I think it moves too slow and for instance I thought I am doing something wrong to complete the mission…).
A thoroughly enjoyable 6 mission battle based around luring out pirates and then hunting them down to their destruction.
The battle has a well written and straight cut plot line with challenging missions.
Pretty balanced battle overall - plot didnt get in the way of the story and the dogfighting was fun. Would like to have seen more capital ship battles and more varied types of craft. Some of the missions were on the tad short time; i think from start to finish I completed this battle in less than 40 mins.
Good plotline, and well made. Nothing to special but a pretty good battle. Not to hard although mission 4 was a pain. Nice work Fordo.
Nice sorry line, the missions were ok with nice balance.
