During RtF26, each pilot may submit up to 20 memes to HA Plif at tccom@emperorshammer.org. Email only, please, as opposed to any other method. Each of those memes will receive RtF points based on the following criteria:

Impression

• 1-4 points: Submission is humorous, insightful, and/or satirical. Specific score will be determined by the judge based on the degree of humor, insight, or satire present in the submission.
• 0 points: Submission makes no impression on the judge in terms of humor, insight, or satire

Creativity

• 6 points: Submission adds an additional non-text visual element to the template or original media AND references the EH in some way in either the setup or punchline for the meme as opposed to the addition of an EH logo or generic "join the EH" message
• 3 points: Submission adds an additional non-text visual element to the template or original media OR references the EH in some way in either the setup or punchline for the meme as opposed to the addition of an EH logo or generic "join the EH" message
• 1 point: Submission qualifies as a meme, being a reinterpretation of a preexisting meme template or piece of media
• 0 points: Submission doesn’t qualify as a meme. For example, an un-altered game screenshot.

Reuse of Templates

• 0 points: This is the submitter’s first use of the meme template or piece of media
• -2 points: Submitter has used the meme template or piece of media before
• -4 points: Submitter has used the meme template or piece of media multiple times before

Notes

• Minimum points awarded for each submission is 0; we won’t be taking points away from participants
• Expanding on "meme template or piece of media", you can pull multiple screenshots from an individual movie and not take a deduction for that but reusing any individual screenshot would incur a deduction.
• When in doubt, you can make a meme quickly but still well on https://imgflip.com/memegenerator

Submissions

• Limit of 20 submissions per pilot
• If you DON'T want your submissions published, please indicate that when you submit them. We like posting memes as the event goes along for everyone's enjoyment.
• HA Plif may decide not to publish a meme if it seems like it would be controversial, insulting, offensive, or otherwise unfit for publication on the TIE Corps Discord server
