Description:
Pilots, the Star Destroyer Relentless has lived up to her name a little too much. In pursuit of a Rebel affiliate group through the Barrabesh system, she has been caught in an improvised gravity well system and a massive field of debris. With only the cruiser Mandible as escort, the clock is ticking for the Relentless to get her hyperdrive back online. With her hangar inoperable, her commander has requested immediate reinforcements. Unfortunately, the only craft we can arm in time is Tempest Squadron's spare TIE Defender. You must carefully reach the Relentless and defend her against any Rebel units in the area, adhering to The Great Enforcer's orders. You'll be on your own in hostile territory, so stay safe, fly straight, and keep your wits about you...

In the Squadrons Practice Arena, Participants are to choose the Galactic Empire and Ace difficulty. Participants may only use the TIE Defender, equipped with:
- Standard Laser Cannon
- APS
- Rockets (All that could be loaded into the ship in time)
- Chaff
- Agile Hull (This is to represent the stripped down nature of the reserve ship)
- Nimble deflector (This is to represent the unstable nature of the power system, weak but quickly surging)
- Unstable Engine (This is to represent the Stripped down and unsure reactor of the Reserve ship)
Upon starting in the above loadout, participants must first spawn in a corvette. Upon destroying the corvette, Squadron 1 (Only X-Wings) must be spawned, Upon their defeat, Squadron 2 (X-Wings and Y-Wings) must be spawned next. Upon their defeat, Squadron 4 (X-Wings and U-Wings) must be spawned and defeated twice. Once the participant has defeated the second wave of X-Wings and U-Wings, they may return to the Relentless' hangar. As soon as the black screen forms, end their time and complete the mission. Should at any point the participant be destroyed in combat, the mission is failed and must be re-attempted from the beginning.
