CMDR Antiel Needs a Droid! (Part 1)   Competition ID#: 2812 Competition status: finished Submitted by: GN Hav Antiel Competition runtime: 01/01/2016 - 01/31/2016 Units involved: ISD Hammer Competition medals: Iron Star with Bronze Ribbon (for each winner) Description: Squadron reports, monthly evaluations, battle submission forms, medal recommendations... there's a lot for a new Squadron Commander to stay on top of! Unfortunately, HA Dempsey refused CMDR Antiel's request for a droid assistant, but that won't stop the resourceful pilots of the Hammer. CMDR Antiel has put out a secret request for an R2-series astromech, and he needs your help. I'd like to have an NPC scapegoat droid assistant to write about in my weekly squadron reports, and I think the pilots of the Hammer should design and name him. Graphics Competition Using this simple template, design what CMDR Antiel's R2 droid assistant should look like. The template can be edited in any graphics program, from MS Paint and GIMP to Photoshop. Be creative! Use as many (or as few) colors in your design as you see fit. Submit your design in any graphics format to CMDR Antiel by 23 January. When all submissions are in, CMDR Antiel will create an online poll, and pilots of the Hammer will have until 31 January to vote for their favorite design. The creator of the winning design will earn an IS-BR. Name Contest All droids need a name, right? Submit a name and nickname using the R2-XX / "Nickname" format (for example, R2-A0 / "Fonzie") to CMDR Antiel by 23 January. CMDR Antiel will create an online poll featuring all submitted names/nicknames, and pilots of the Hammer will have until 31 January to vote for their favorite design.
