While serving the Emperor’s Hammer, Lieutenant Commander Jai Thorne continues to dedicate his work in many ways from flying numerous missions in Theta Squadron, to completing courses at the Imperial University. On a more recent note, Jai has been on a hunt to recruit new members to add to the ranks of the Emperor’s Hammer. In his efforts thus far, Jai has managed to recruit a total of five new members, earning himself a shiny new medal “Medal of Instruction” for each, adding the Blue Cross device to his proud award. In this short time span, three of the five have already proven themselves on earning the rank of Lieutenant. A proud feat to be said, though Jai still continues to reach out in hopes of more members to join the cause. Ever so expanding within the Empire, as it grows as a whole, spots are to be filled as these new recruits are the life hood and future of the Emperor’s Hammer.

On a more recent note, Jai has joined in with assisting the Reconnaissance Officer and his team of assistants in hopes of expanding the recruitment processes. Reaching out in the vast expanses of the galaxy, hoping to entice more people to join the might of what the TIE Corps can offer. So here we are now, with a handful of stories on how each of the new five members were sought out and brought into the TIE Corps.

The first of the five, Jai Thorne had first encountered Bjornyorn in the inner rim, on the planet of Corellia. He was formerly serving as a Corellian weapons manufacturer that was known for his talent of maintaining ship logistics. Although he had a stern attitude at the time, Jai saw potential in his dedicated persona in his current job and had concluded he would be better suited within the TIE Corps serving as a pilot. With enough cogent, Jai was able to persuade Bjornyorn to join the ranks where he could put his talents to the test and prove to others his abilities that would not go unnoticed.

The second member to join was none other than “urcat8u””, formerly known as Daniel Pylon, a member of society that held many jobs and positions. Although young in age, this person was very mature for their age, and was well experienced in a variety of professions such as piloting commercial starcraft, similar to Jai’s upbringing. Other jobs included team management, baking, marketing and many more. With knowing this newfound information while Jai was on a short vacation trip to the planet of Cantonica that is better known for ...well, we will leave that bit out for now. But, while visiting here, Jai stumbled across this individual in a game, got to talking and found out that urcat8u was just an alias that Daniel went by when not in his home world. In addition to that, Jai also found out that Daniel was highly in favor of the Empire and supported their ideals which prompted Jai to extend an offer to this lad to which they said yes without hesitation.

Third in line was.Jafan Dallo, a suitable candidate that heirs from the planet of Coruscant, serving as a merchant in the trade of salvaged parts, mostly consisting of droid parts. Majority of his clients consisted of shady people such as criminals, or people looking for a cheap deal in the underground parts of Coruscant. As a side job, he would also act as an informant by selling information to bounty hunters from time to time. After the death of his parents, times were tough, so he did what he had to just to get by. A strong, and stern fellow, though married to his lovely wife, Jafan bears no children and unfortunately loses both his parents in the DS-I explosion. Like many, Jafan took it to heart and had made the Rebel Alliance his sworn enemy. Knowing this after speaking with Jafan, Jai offered him a position in the TIE Corps, and instructed Jafan on how to better involve himself by attending the Imperial Academy. Leaving his previous trade behind him, Jafan quickly embarked on his new journey and signed up to become a formidable pilot, taking in and learning all he can so he could one day exact his revenge on those who destroyed his family.

The next member who joined the TIE Corps is known as Grif Skroll from the planet of Naboo. At the current time, Grif was serving as an intelligence broker for his career and a couple of his hobbies included surfing the holonet to see all the latest news and updates on the Empire, and in his other moments of spare time you would find him tinkering on his personal ship. Adding any new modifications he could whether it be adjusting his thrusters for that added boost to modifying a decal here and there to spruce it up for all the ladies to see. Grif was exactly that, a mechanic and pilot at heart, his ship was his pride and joy though he felt bogged down in his line of work, not being able to take his ship out and fly out to other exciting planets to showcase his pride. One day, on a heated sun filled afternoon, Jai stumbled across Grif tinkering on the top end of his craft, admiring his work Jai struck up conversation with the fellow. After getting to know one another, Jai learned of Grif’s admiration of the Empire, what they stood for and what all they can actually do. Whether it was the small talk, or what Jai was mentioning in his previous flight missions, it seemed as though Grif had seen a new career path ahead, one of more fulfillment and excitement. In so, Grif put in his notice to his employer and former clients and dropped his duties as a broker to attend the Academy and later join the TIE Corps which was very fitting given his history of flying already, he would better fit the role of becoming an Ace pilot anyways.

At last, of the five to join the ranks was the polite and ever so innocent Serena Korra, originally born on the planet of Naboo. She lived a comfortable lifestyle, her parents owning multiple trade goods enterprises that exported luxury goods to various planets across the galaxy. Feeling cradled a good majority of her life, she never got the excitement she was looking for, so when she ran into Jai one day while shopping in a market, she was in amazement when the discussion of flying amongst the stars and engaging in star fighter combat and other memorable missions to be flown. Although not so experienced in the arts of piloting a craft, she was hesitant at first but later grew eager to learn the ropes and joined the Imperial Academy within a moment's notice. As for talents, she didn’t offer much except for a compelling attitude to officials and an adequate mannerism. In seeing this, Jai saw her as an exceptional candidate for the TIE Corps, knowing how to understand, comprehend and adhering to orders trickled down by the higher ups that she wouldn’t throw a fit as long as she could fly.

Now with Jai’s rapport with the newly joined pilots, he knew he had done well by the Emperor’s Hammer and while feeling satisfied with his efforts, he knew his job was not done there but rather just beginning. His plans for the future are to entice more people of all ages, species and backgrounds to fill the new shoes of the TIE Corps.
