Squadron Commander’s Corner

Well, hello there. It’s been a busy week for me - in the TC and out of it - nevertheless I am proud to present my first Squadron Report, aptly numbered #00 for it covering only half a week.

Squadron News

General Dempsey left Delta 1-1 for one, or rather two, full time desk jobs.
Lieutenant Colonel Clark is proud to have taken the position

Squadron Status

Apparently Delta has fallen in a kind of shock like a deer in the headlights, from all the changes.
But fear not, as reported in my NOTAM, trivia will continue from the coming week, giving those too busy for flying a chance for some activity.
I’ve received all previous related data from HA Dempsey, so incentive awards and such will continue on.
Furthermore I got a couple of vague ideas for upcoming squadron competitions, which I might open up Wing wide, for increased participation and increased award level.

Miscellaneous

Of course I would prefer a little more activity from the Squadron, but I recon the trivia will help a little.
As a general rule I love to get any feedback from my squadron internal communications, and be it a RUA (read/understood/acknowledged).
I am not so sure, how to form up Delta’s Roster for now. If there are willing FMs who like to take the next step I would like to open up applications for at least one FL position.
On a side not you might have realized this report is a little more “bleak” than the usual around here. I’d appreciate any recommendations for - not too complex - WYSIWYG HTML/Text editors from TC members.
