Commodore's Thoughts

Pilots of the mighty flagship,

This week had a lot going on. I'm going to spare everyone the details of the events that unfolded in the TIE Corps Google group, and outline the nitty gritty for the ISD Warrior.

First and foremost, congratulations on CoL awardees. See the awards section for more details.

In all the turmoil of this week, CM Drake Starfire decided to step down from the position of Kappa Commander, and go to the reserves. MAJ Bryan also left Kappa for the reserves. LT Senda was declared AWOL.

COL Almasy was appointed as Beta CMDR on the Hammer, we wish him luck.

So that leaves us at four pilots less than last week, and one CMDR short. Applications for Kappa Command are being accepted by the WC and I via e-mail. Candidates must be motivated to lead a Squadron on the Warrior, and have passed IWATS SM/4.

In the meantime, Kappa pilots can look to CPT Repulsor and LC Impulse for guidance and leadership, and send me their BSFs. I've submitted a good amount of pilot files from you guys today, so I'm glad to report whoever gets command of Kappa will inherit an active unit.

LT Cormir will henceforth be known as LT Sparky.

Congratulations to Major Flelm and Lieutenant Colonel Plif who both got their well deserved promotions. These two Commanders are inspirations to us all, and experts at their positions. They are examples for us all.

Also, Plif and I tied for the second week in a row for the TIE Golf championship... The TAC has made a custom mission to try to defeat our low scoring ways. Stay tuned for results next week!

Conclusion

Most of us on the Warrior can attest that these kinds of weeks happen every now and then, and they have a tendency to discourage us just a little bit. Let's however look at the bright side. We had some big promotions, lots of awards, and most important of all, we now have an opportunity for advancement for one of our most talented members ripe for the taking.

They also make for long reports!
