Good day folks. Welcome to your weekly moment of blissful DRRT (Delta Report Reading Time). It has been a quiet week, but happy times are coming.
To begin with the bad news, I have sent a request to the TCCOM to remove LT Roswell from the roster. Perhaps this should
have been done sooner, as it has been 4 months without any contact at all. And unfortunately, there is another pilot awaiting the same fate.
LT Benjo, you have until the next MSE to get in touch with me.
On to happier news!
First off, new recruits keep coming in, and new recruits keep earning their promotions to Lieutenant. Excellent work all!
Also, me and a few others have given the Warrior COM a little trouble deciding the winner of last week's hole in
TIE Golf - no less than 6 of us scored the absolute minimum on the hole! Well, on hole 1 two pilots scored the least points
and were given a shared win, so let's hope for me that this will happen this week as well. Another IS-SW is never a problem :)
I have not yet seen any submissions from my squadron for the current round of Hammer on patrol - but that is a
battle, and you folks still have another week to go. I have submitted my pilotfiles to the COM, with 3 mission high scores included :) I'm fairly
confident I shall win at least two rounds again :)
If you like flying but not for HoP, there's a new battle out (since about an hour ago). XvT TC 144: The Raptor's Secret
is the 5th installment in the series about the Void Raptors, The Karana Initiative, and
the 6th to be released. There is one more in the queue awaiting a beta report, and then I will probably do one more battle in this series to wrap it up.
I'll have to have a chat with the TCCOM about how to end this, or maybe even if he wants to end it with another competition. More to follow!
I've also found a nasty omission on my flight record: it seems I never did complete the entire Compendium, as there are several
X-wing battles I have never flown. That issue shall be remedied shortly, and in the past week I've already flown a few,
giving the TCCOM a headache trying to remember how to BSF them, with the utter uselessness of X-wing's pilotfiles. I'm actually having to take
photo's of my monitor to do a "screenshot" as a real screenshot is too distorted to be useful.... And just because I enjoyed the old game, I
came up with an X-wing battle as well and submitted that to the TAC Office. I'll probably copy it for the other platforms so people who don't
fly X-wing can enjoy it too :)
With MAJ Clark being relegated to the sideline in this week's trivia, as he won the last three rounds in a row,
CPT Fenn took his chance and secured his victory. Nice work. For next week's trivia, I have something special planned,
just wait :)
Next week is the last week of my 3-month squadron activity competition. LCM Nylan grabbed victory in August, followed
by CPT Fenn in September, and with October coming to a close, MAJ Clark has the lead for this
month. Will he win it or see another pilot snatch victory from under him! Next week's report will also declare the winner for the overall competition,
Speaking of which - I've sent out an email regarding the next big squadron competition. So far, I've heard back from 3 people, thank you for that.
Unfortunately, that leaves 5 pilots who did not respond, two of which the aforementioned AWOL Candidates. Ayayayay.
With that said, I'll be closing this section of the report. Until next week, my pilots!
