Commodore's Thoughts

Pilots,

This week presented some challenges to myself personally with respect to time available, however, we got through it, and with great results.

I am only missing one MSE. Upon it's reception, which I astutely assume will be in about a week, I will send off the September Ship eval.

I had the privilege this week to announce a TC Wide TIE Golf competition dubbed "TIE Golf 2014: The ISD Warrior Invitational". I've already got 8 sign ups. If you haven't already, you can sign up at the website: http://tac.emperorshammer.org/tiegolf/

Make sure you read the rules! For those unfamiliar with the competition, it will consist of flying 5 TIE Free missions over the course of 5 weeks while attempting to have the lowest score possible, while following aforementioned rules. I will e-mail all the participants with the opening round on the day of competition start.

Other than that, the ISD Warrior SC Bonanza Competition ended. Congratulations to CPT Flelm, MAJ Plif and LCM Nolij who won first, second and third respectfully and will be awarded the IS-GW, SW and BW respectfully. They are already recommended gents! Well done.

Q1: I can't help but notice that the Goat is still here.

A1: Yes it is. You are very astute. You should be awarded the coveted Letter of Achievement. In case you're wondering, I am being sarcastic.

Q2: Colonel, that goat can't live here... There's poop everywhere. How are we going to deal with this?

A2: I'm not the one that demanded we have a TIE Goat. It is by popular demand. Well... Mostly Colonel La'an. So it is not my problem. You find a solution to the poop issue.

Q3: I guess whoever loses TIE Golf has to pick up all the goat poop?

A3: That sounds reasonable.

Q4: One more question. Why isn't there any poop near the Sigma quarters?

A4: Because Captain Flelm is my favourite. Therefore, when I take Mr. TIE Goat for a poop walk, I tend to avoid his quarters. He's too busy doing his paperwork properly and on time to have to deal with picking up goat poop. Unlike the rest of you! Now, if you excuse me, I'm going to head to the Theta quarters... I hear someone likes going on leave better than submitting timely MSEs!.

Conclusion

I'm happy with the activity we saw this week. Lots of BSFs went through my inbox, which is a cliché way of saying ya'll flew lots of old school missions. Old guys like me like that.

So we're going to have a good time at TIE Golf, which should be coinciding with my next report!
