Commodore's Thoughts

Warriors,

We've had quite the week. With the TIE Goats on the horizon, the command position changes, and a quite successful competition, Frown and I have had our hands full. I also get the distinct impression that activity is steadily improving for the Warrior, as we've had flight activity from each squadron this week.

Congratulations to Commander Drake Starfire who was named Kappa Commander at the beginning of the week. He comes to us from Wing I with lots of enthusiasm and already earned numerous LoCs in the name of Kappa. Keep it up Commander.

Sigma Squadron saw some big changes this week with the resignation of GN Exar Kit. The good general had been commanding that unit for over two years, and saw it fit to let someone else take a run at leading the Squadron. Congratulations go out to CPT Flelm, who has hit the ground running as Sigma Commander. MAJ Wraith took over as FL in Sin.

Unfortunately, this week, MAJ Jedgar left Sigma squadron for the reserves. We bid him farewell and hope he returns to us soon!

The ISD Warrior SC Bonanza finishes tomorrow at midnight GMT. We've seen numerous matches to date, but its not too late to get on the board and earn some medals! Get on it, gents.

We've had a record week for trivia participation with 11 participants. Could have been 13, but Frown and I were too busy teeing up the new TIE Golf (Goat?) competition. Here are the week 7 results!

Conclusion

Expect an e-mail sometime this week with more details about the incoming TIE Golf competition. I'm doing my best to get the legwork done so we can start it sometime in October, preferably around thanksgiving!

That's right, Canadian thanksgiving. The real one.
