Beta Squadron Weekly Report #6

Writing this weeks report without coffee so have a heart.  Forgot to get creamer over the weekend to bring into work.  Probably just make some without it, but you get acquainted with that fancy Heath bar creamer......................mmmmm good!!

I guess now on with the actual report ;)

Good news first: Lots of LoC's were popping up this last week.  Our new recruits LT Labyrinth & LT Coffeezone had a grand ole time in Star Conflict, and even I helped keep the COO busy with a handful of submissions.  Check the FCHG rankings at the bottom to see just how many numbers were put up.

More good news as I give a shout out to some medals awarded last week.  LT Labyrinth earned herself a Commendation of Bravery for putting up 30 MP Victories.  Grats to her and the effort she has put in (seriously, go check how many LoC's she has already).  I was also awarded the Palpatine Crescent for bribing Woody........err, I mean.....for dedication and activity.  Yeah, that sounds better.

And another section of good news - this time from Epsilon Squad - CMDR Dunta Polo get promoted to General.  A salute to you and your effort from Beta.......LoC's galore for your efforts in Star Conflict:  You'll be at Templar in no time ;)

Lots of shinies handed out for last month - make sure you check TCCOM's report for the full list.

Ending our news with the bad.  Couple pilots went AWOL last week.  Hopefully all is well and they're flying safe somewhere.

Beta's Weekly Acitivty Competition

Sept. Week #2 Results:  None :(

I was pretty skeptical for even doing these games as activity so thanks to Kyle & Upside for at least keeping it going a few weeks and making the effort.

Saddens me to say I don't see much reason to continue with them so maybe in the next week or two, I'll try to come up with something else that's email based (not trivia!).  They were only added to have a little in-Squad fun, but as long as y'all are having fun playing some actual games and not cheesy flash ones, I'm perfectly ok with that.  Game on!

Chrome's Corner

For Victory!

It never really was a conclusion, just me rambling about my games so our new weekly ending article will be Chrome's Corner........what a catchy name, I know!

So I decided to lay down the $75 for Elite: Dangerous.  I was kinda bored yesterday and looking at all those games in my Steam Library (and non Steam), and was just thinking hey - I could really go for something new.......so I did.  So far, with it being a totally open sandbox kinda game, I'm lost as hell lol.  Already got blown up a few times but I think I keep going against enemy ships that I have no business fighting in my little starter ship.

The game also has Beer & Liquor in the Market, so I'll be hauling lots of that.  Probably 50/50 chance it makes it to the destination..........ha, more like 80/20.  I'm totally gonna drink it ;)

In Closing: Go fly something!!
