Introduction

Greetings,

This has actually not been the best week for the TC, news wise. Sadly, we lost a Squadron Commander, as CPT Starkillerny felt the need to step down from his position due to real life commitments. I’d like to thank CPT Star for his amazing work leading Kappa Squadron, and I hope he finds the time in the future to return to a command position, as he has proven to be an amazing asset in command. Star has remained in the ranks of Kappa, thankfully.

For the time being, HA Frodo March is not accepting any applications for Kappa CMDR. We’ll let everyone if that situation changes.

Other bad news is that COL Mell Kerrigan, from Theta, got his Admiral rank back. Why is that bad? Because he only did it because he had to return to the reserves, thus having his previous admiralty rank restored. Too sad to see you go, Mell, hope you get back in the active roster right away!

If that wasn’t enough, Sin Squadron also lost a member, as LT Dact41 also had to transfer to the reserves, also due to real life commitments. If only we could get actually paid for flying our TIEs…the EH command seems to be still ignoring my requests to get us all salaries, go figure…

Well, not all is lost. We’ve also had a couple of new members joining us this week. Welcome to SL Cyberkninja, who joined Alpha Squadron, and to SL Senda, who joined Sin Squadron. Congrats to CPT Landon Cruise for his Medal of Instruction, for recruiting SL Cyberkninja! Glad to have you both with us, SLs!

As a reminder, Commendations of Loyalty recommendations will resume when we manage to get the reccs from the SOO.

Description: League set up will be 2 divisions with a total of a Min 8 teams with the possibility of expanding to a 10 or 12 team league. All teams must be registered by August 1st, 2014.

League draft will be determined by player vote.

All league rules and scoring are listed on the League site which will be hosted on the Yahoo Fantasy sports website. (Must create a Yahoo Account to play)

Three winners at the end of the regular season gets the medals.

Description: The MP Kill Board will used to keep track of points. Each LoC earns you a point for the competition, and a DFC counts for 5 points. Whoever scores most points win. The numbers on the MP Kill Board at the end of the month are the numbers that are tallied. If there are three participants then IS-GW/SW/BW, if only two IS-SW/BW, etc. At the end of the year the top 3 pilots with the most points will receive IS-PW/GW/SW/BW. XWA, XvT, Star Conflict, and Freelancer-Freeworlds are the authorized platforms for this competition.

Description: As always: every SP mission flown wins a point, whoever has most points at the end of the month wins. IS-GW/SW/BW for top 3 monthly, at the end of the year the top 4 pilots win IS-PW/GW/SW/BW. Each mission only counts once towards this competition, missions flown in previous years can be reflown.
