Commodore's Thoughts

Mighty Warriors,

I sent in the July ship evaluation this week, and received input from the TCCOM. The awards will be recommended in the next few days. We're still waiting on a few big awards from the June MSE. We're all crossing our fingers hoping the SOO is ok, because the process would just not be the same without him.

But that's not the news you guys were anxiously awaiting! Undoubtedly, Warrior Trivia week 1 results are what everyone is tuned in for. So here goes:

Congratulations to COL Schueler for his lightning fast performance, the IS-BR is in the mail. He gets three points, Yoda gets two, the rest of us with all 5 correct answers get 1.

We got 7 out of 38 eligible pilots participating! Not bad for the first week, but let's get the word out to the rest of our crew members, because we can do better. I'll be addressing our Wing Commander's lack of participation with him personally.

Also, I am apparently the slowest googler on the ship. This is a sad realisation...

Trivia Master Plif tells me that we will have the next set of questions released in the next few hours. Remember, we have until next Friday to answer!

Other than that we had a fairly quiet week. SC pilots have things on the go on the TIE Corps Google Groups, contact CPT Cruise from Wing I if you're interested in participating in some tournament that I don't really understand, regarding SC Corps advantages that I also don't understand.

Good luck to Sin Squadron who will undertake a great battle vs. Alpha in the coming weeks for SC PVP. Make us proud guys.

Q1: I heard you were in trouble for not participating in trivia?

A1: Ugh. Yes. I put it off to the last minute so that I could work on the damn Ship eval for the COM... And then I dozed off. Right in front of the briefing screen! How embarrassing. The most exciting place in the world... And I fell asleep!

Q2: That's rough. What's going to happen to you?

A2: If you must know, I've been sentenced to supervise custodial duties for the Warrior's Cantina. Not much of a punishment if you ask me. I've been dying to find a way to make that unruly place into a clean and orderly area! No more shenanigans!

Q3: Any word on LT Doralt's whereabouts?

A3: Err.. I gotta go...

Conclusion

Fall is steadily approaching, and hopefully the sun and fun will give way to hours and hours of TIE Competitions, and good times on the Wing II Google group, which is hash tag free since 93'.
