ISDII Warrior Report # 18 (2014-08-09)

High Admiral Frodo March reporting for the ISD-II Warrior on this Saturday 9th of August 2014.

Commodore's Thoughts

It was a little bit of a slow week for the Warriors of the ISD Warrior this week... Except for Sin of course, they've been flying and doing tons of stuff as usual. An excellent example for all of us to follow.

The competition results were sent out and medals were awarded for the "ISD Warrior, the story begins" competition, which saw three participants. Congrats to Wraith and Plif for being the top two, just edging out Yoda. The IS-BR for the sequel idea will be awarded briefly!

I've received three of four MSEs, so I'm confident that I can have my Ship evaluation sent out on Sunday night. A few medals are still pending from our June MSEs due to our SOO being on leave.

In order to motivate all the pilots of the mighty flagship to wake up from our collective RTF hangover, I've given Plif the opportunity to run his vaunted trivia for the whole ship. Questions will be sent out tonight, and the answers will be ours to provide via the Google forms medium that keenly measures our rapidity to answer the actual questions, as opposed to who happens to be in the same time zone as the trivia master. His time zone will be kept secret all the same. Never too safe.

There is an IS-BR available every week in this competition, in addition to monthly and even annual awards that will be dished out for continuing trivia excellence. Full details are in the competition section of this report as usual.

I expect strong participation in Warrior trivia, in addition to witty dialogue between pilots, and units, on our shiny Wing II google group, which might I add, is free of all those Hammer pilots and their incessant hashtags. I asked Frown what the hell those were all about, and all we could find were Canadian rap videos. The mystery persists.

Plif is running the competition, which of course means Frown and I will participate. I will do all that I can to not embarrass myself. But I guarantee nothing from our ferocious, yet beloved Wing Commander.

From the Bridge of the Warrior

Let's check in with our Wing Commander, Colonel Gilbert H. Frown:

Q1: Good morning Sir! How was your week?

A1: Don't try to sass me today, Pilot. I'm not in the mood for your shenanigans!

Q2: Ok, ok. Are you excited for Trivia?

A2: Of course not. But I guess it's better than flying. Nobody ever lost their wingmen at trivia... Although if there's a way, I'm sure You will find it.

Q3: I heard you were taking complaints. Have you received any yet?

A3: Just one. I rather not talk about it. Let's just say that pilot won't be complaining any more. Well, if he does, nobody will be able to hear him. Bwahahahahahaha! Muawhahahaha!

...That's enough for now, Sir...

Conclusion

The search party for LT Doralt is still under way. I've asked Frown if he's seen him lately, and all he did was laugh it off uneasily. He's really upset about the whole ordeal. Let's hope the good LT just passed out somewhere under a table.

Let's have a good week gents.

The only way forward is Through,

In service,
