TIE Corps Command Report
Weekly Report #69 – Submission date: July 06th 2014
Introduction

Greetings,

Raise the Flag competition has ended earlier this week. After a whole month of competition, the ISD Warrior emerged victorious, although the Hammer’s efforts are not to be belittled. Congratulations are in order to both crews on a job well done, and especially to the Warrior, which is now the Flagship of the TIE Corps!

As to the squadrons, Theta confirmed its lead, with almost 1000 points ahead of second place Sin Squadron, followed closely by Alpha, and leaving Delta in fourth. Kappa, Epsilon, Sigma and Beta completed the score board in that order. Congratulations to all, and in particular to Theta Squadron, which is now the TCCOM’s Own Escort Squadron!

GN Pickled Yoda has also confirmed his victory, which, although expected, was not without a lot of hard work to manage keeping second place COL Dempsey at some distance. Third and fourth places went to CPT Plif and CM Landon Cruise, who then close the medal awards for overall scoring. Congratulations to them and to all other participants, but a special congratulations to our newest RtF Top Gun, GN Yoda!

You can check the TC News page for details regarding the winners of every particular aspect of Raise the Flag 2014. What you’ll only be able to see here is a compilation of all medals awarded for the competition and their recipients:

GN Pickled Yoda – IS-PW, IS-GW, IS-SR, IS-BR and IS-BW
COL Anahorn Dempsey – IS-GW, IS-SW and IS-SR
COL Jarek La’an – IS-GR, IS-GR, IS-GR, IS-SR and IS-BR
CPT Plif – IS-GW, IS-GW, IS-SW and IS-SR
LCM Chrome – IS-GR, IS-GR, IS-BW and IS-BW
HA Frodo March – IS-GR and IS-BW
HA Daniel Bonini – IS-GW
CM Landon Cruise – IS-SW, IS-SW and IS-BW
MAJ John T. Clark – IS-SR and IS-BR
RA Elwood the Brave – IS-SR
RA Zósite Kónstyte Styles – IS-SW
CPT Starkillerny – IS-BR
LC Impulse – IS-BR

That is a total of 33 medals spread between 13 very deserving pilots, and they have all already been recommended in the database, except for my own IS-GW, which will be recommended by the SOO.

Speaking of my IS-GW, it is a result of the first place in RtF Single Player Bonus Competition, which had RA Zósite as runner up and GN Pickled Yoda in third place. These results have also been released earlier in the week, and the bonus points went to the Challenge Flagstaff, Theta Squadron, Sin Squadron and Delta Squadron.

With all the pending competition matters dealt with, it’s time to return to usual business. This week, we already saw one promotion, as LT Nolij was advanced to the rank of Lieutenant Commander. Excellent work, LCM Nolij!

Unfortunately, that’s all the good news I have to offer, as apparently we are about to lose one of our most notorious Squadron Commanders, as we’ve been informed of LC Kyle Kroan’s intent to step down from his CMDR position in Beta Squadron as soon as the evaluation process for last month is completed. This is indeed sad news. I hope LC Kroan finds it in himself to return to this position in the future. RA Elwood has announced to be receiving applications for Beta CMDR.

The other bad news is that, in the same Beta Squadron, LC Kenath Zoron, Beta Flight 3 Leader, requested transfer to the Reserves, which was granted and processed. Good luck, LC Zoron, I hope you return very soon to active duty, where you belong.
