Welcome to another 2-in-1 Beta Squadron Weekly Report!

We have many good news as well as some bad news in regards of the past two weeks. I'll start with the bad so we can cheer up later:

1) We aren't doing so well in the RtF, the Hammer is still over a thousand points behind, and Beta is basically second to last on the boards... but, that is my fault (at least the second part is). I'll fly as many missions as I can over the weekend, but I ask everyone in Beta (except DeMiko, Stephens and Zoron, because they are the top guns in our squad so far), to please fly something. Anything. I'm willing to fly Star Conflict if somebody who did not earn any points so far flies with me (Ferret, Roadkill, Rostam, Ups, Kryysta...). Every LoC counts! 

2) On another sad note, Lieutenant Commander Julon Lommax has been transferred to the Reserves per his request, due to his busy schedule nowadays. However, he stayed on the TC mailing list, so hopefully he'll be back in no time!

Okay, the good news: May MSE has been processed and we had a fair amount of shinies awarded! Congratulations, everyone! Also, Kenath and Daniel are doing an excellent job farming LoCs in Star conflict, if we keep it up, we can jump in front of Epsilon and Kappa! Let's do this! LEEEEROOOOOOOOOY JEEENKIIIIIINS!!! .... ahem... I got carried away there for a bit. Anyways, we can definitely do better!

I made a minor change in this report: instead of Star Wars Fun Facts, I will be on the lookout for EH fun facts. I'm sure I can find something interesting every week, as the club has been around for two decades now! If you'd like to share an interesting piece of information about the EH/TC's past, don't hesitate to share it with me so I can post it!

The very first squadrons formed in the Emperor's Hammer were Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Epsilon and Lambda, aboard the ISD Avenger. The date was December 24th, 1994.

Beta Squadron reached active status three days later, its first commander was General Peter Papp (I wonder if he was Hungarian, as his name is actually very common in Hungary!).

Kryysta Calthranus: Kryysta has been awarded with an Imperial Security Medal for his continuous dedication to Beta, and an Iron Star with Bronze Ribbon for placing 3rd in the Hammer Student of the Month competition! Congratulations, Lieutenant!

Upsidexumop: Lieutenant Commander Ups has been decorated with an Imperial Security Medal for his constant trivia activity in the past months! Congratulations!

DeMiko: the young Lieutenant earned his very first merit medal, nothing less than a Palpatine Crescent for his excellent flying in Star Conflict! Congratulations, DeMiko, keep it up!

Three pilots have advanced in their respective Combat Ratings! Lieutenant DeMiko is now an Officer 1st Class, Lieutenant Colonel Zoron became a Top Ace 4th Class, while Colonel Daniel Stephens has reached the rating of Elite 4th Class! Excellent work, congrats!

Medals of Communications were awarded to: Upsidexumop, Kenath Zoron, Kryysta Calthranus, Daniel Stephens, Kyle Kroan (Bronze Oak Cluster) and Julon Lommax (Gold Oak Cluster). Congratulations!
