WEEKLY HAMMER COMMODORE REPORT
WEEKLY HAMMER COMMODORE REPORT #8
TO: TCCOM HA Daniel Bonini
FROM: Hammer COM RA Elwood the Brave
DATE SUBMITED: 24th May 2014
OVERVIEW
CM Landon Cruise keeps on recruiting. With SL Drake Starfire he brought us another addition that allready got his promotion to full LT within no time. Welcome aboard LT and congratulations to your first promotion!

With CM Landon Cruise's recruitment efforts we're growing and growing. We allready reached 40 members aboard the Hammer, leaving only 9 open spots. And I am sure that CM Cruise will have us at full 49 members aboard the Hammer within a matter of weeks if he keeps up his recruiting. Well done!

CM Cruise has also managed to find 2 adaquate pilots for the Flight Leader positions in his Squadron. LT Jeff Dongger takes Alpha 2-1 while LT Chrome takes Alpha 3-1. Congratulations on your promotions to Flight Leader, Lieutenants! I am sure with the guidance of your CMDR you will do a fine job!

Following the assignment of his brother as Alpha CMDR, COL Jakob Van Nowak has been transfered from Delta 3-3 to Alpha 1-4 to stay under the command of CM Landon Cruise.

With the return of our SOO from his LoA the MoC's for April are being awarded. As always a detailed list is in the Medals section of this report. Congratulations to all recipients!

LC Tempest has decided that it is time to return to active duty. At least that's what we've been told. I still am not sure if he didn't go this step to be reunited with his beloved COM and rename the Warrior... and switch it into a M/FRG.

There've been some issues with reported SC 24/7 MP victories and the submitted screenshots. There were screenshots send to the COO for LoC's that didn't clearly show that the one reporting for a LoC had at least one kill during the match. The rules for SC 24/7 MP victory screenshots are clear in this matter. Only if your team did win the match and you had at least one kill (or survived as Captain in Combat Recon) and have proof for this with a screenshot you can report this match for a LoC. If your screenshot doesn't show clearly that you had at least one kill or survived as Captain it is not valid for a LoC. So please make sure when you report SC 24/7 victories to the COO that your screenshot(s) show clearly that everyone that should receive an LoC had at least one kill (or survived as Captain).

The Hammer Student of the Month competition saw a hell of a lot of entries this week and there is a hot race for the medals going on. We'll see in my next report who's gonna make it for the IS-GR in the end. Current standings can be found in the competitions section.

RTF 2014 is gonna happen fron 1st to 30th June. That leave you only litle more then a week to finish your preparations and get ready for battle, people!

TC COMPETITIONS
Ace of the TC
Each mission flown earns you a point for the competitions. Whoever scores most points win. Each mission only counts once. The numbers on the KillBoard at the end of the month are the numbers that are tallied, missions not yet processed will count towards the next month. IS-GW/SW/BW monthly for the top 3 pilots on the website's Kill Board - IS-PW/GW/SW/BW for the top 4 pilots at the end of the year.

MP Ace of the TC
The MP Kill Board will be used to keep track of points. Each LoC earns you a point for the competition, and a DFC counts for 5 points. Whoever scores most points win. The numbers on the MP KillBoard at the end of the month are the numbers that are tallied. If there are three participants then IS-GW/SW/BW, if only two IS-SW/BW, etc. XWA, XvT, Star Conflict, and Freelancer-Freeworlds are the authorized platforms for this competition.

*THIS* is the TIE Corps!
So the TIE Corps website doesn't seem to have the classic 'About us...' section up there for people to realize what we really are and what's this pseudo-military madness all about. And I've heard some officers from our current membership complaining that such situation could be driving potential new recruits back in panic thinking we're gonna eat their democratic souls or something, then forcing them to play games meant to be played only by lifeless beings who lost their twenties long ago. And hell... I think they're damn right.

Therefore, and in order for such an important issue on our recruiting efforts to be addressed ASAP, your most dreaded SOO has decided to set up an official competition for you to be able to contribute with what may perfectly be the best thing you'll ever do for the Fleet as a whole out of your own performance as pilots and commanding officers.

ALL current members of the TIE Corps are hereby called to participate by submitting their own versions of an eventual 'About us' section, which will become the main page to be accessed instead the news one. All submissions must use HTML standard code and are expected to include pics, logos, links, EH/TC history, game platforms we use, maybe a few lines on usual Fleet procedures... Everything you may consider important enough to the point of motivating slightly interested people into becoming our new cadets (without boring them to suicidal levels). Please include the HTML file itself and all pics using the intended resolution on a ZIP file, then send it by e-mail to ALL members of the TIE Corps Admiralty (TCCOM, SOO and COO). And try for all your content to fit on a 750px wide table (including margins). Apart from that you should try to follow current TC site layout as much as possible, and know that your submission may be modified as necessary by site admin. (that would be the aforementioned dreaded SOO) for it to better fit current content.

Nothing else to say except that we're obviously expecting top-quality submissions as befitting our great Fleet, as much as to be judged as worthy contenders for no less than a Platinum Ribbon! Please try to understand this task is of utmost important for us all, hence the quality we're asking for and our confidence in your skills to fulfil our requirements.

Star Conflict's Combat Recon 2
Round 2. During Combat Recon modes, of Star Conflict, survive as the Captain or kill the Captain. This will be an accumulated number for the month. If you survive as the Captain, mouse-over the medal that says you survived as captain so we know that you did.

HAMMER COMPETITIONS
HoP - Hammer on Patrol - ISD II Hammer wide
Each Saturday in my report I will announce 1 Free mission or battle for TIE, XvT and XWA. Every pilot of the ISD II Hammer then has until the following Saturday, 08:00 GMT to forward me their bsf-mail for those missions/battles. IS-SW for highest score, IS-BW for second for each game platform each week (laserless scoring for TIE as usual). In addition to that participants accumulate points for their weekly participation. 1st receives 4 points, 2nd 3 points, 3rd 2 points and all others 1 point. Highscores gain you a bonus point (only one bonus point for the one holding the HS for the mission or the whole battle with his submission by the end of the week, not for those that might beat the actual HS during the week and get beaten again before the week ends). The points for all platforms will be counted together for the monthly rewards for this competition. So the more platforms you participate in, the higher your points. On last Saturday of each month the one with the most points will be awarded an IS-GW, second an IS-SW and third an IS-BW.

In case your CMDR or MSS TAC were unable to get the bsf-procedure for your submission done in time (before Saturday 08:00 GMT) send me your pilot file(s) and I'll delay the announcement of the results for the week until all bsf-mails reached my inbox. Results will always be covered in my WSR, just like the new missions/battles for the following week.

In case I received pilot files from less then 5 pilots or less then 2 different squadrons during one month, the monthly awards for this month will be lowered to IS-SW/BW for 1st/2nd.

For every pilot file submited that doesn't qualify for one of the weekly medals each pilot earns himself an "activity point" ( Max. 1 point per platform per week). Each time a pilot reaches 8 activity points he'll receive an IS-BW. Each time a pilot earns himself one of the other medals given out for the HoP competition (no matter if weekly or monthly awards) the activity points counter will be reset to zero.

HSotM - Hammer Student of the Month - Wing I wide
Education is the basis of success. And we allready have the key for that success lying on our EH.org server, the Imperial University and Imperial Weapons and Tacticts School. So from now on every Hammer member that sucesscully takes one of the IU/IWATS courses earns himself one point for this competition. A perfect score for a course is worth an additional bonus point. The Hammer member with most points at the end of the month is declared "Hammer student of the month" for that month and is allowed to wear this titel as part of his ID-Line. Depending on participation there will be different IS given out. If there are more then 3 participants, the first 3 will earn IS-GR - IS SR - IS-BR, if there are 3 or less participants there will be only IS-SR and IS-BR up for the first 2.

To make sur your courses count toward this competition you have to forward me your graduation mail to my inbox.

monthly standings May:
LT Chrome 20 points
