Epsilon Squadron Weekly Report – 12th May 2014

CMDR-TCS/COL Dunta Polo here reporting in for Epsilon squadron.

This week saw the addition of Jeffery Donger to our squadron, giving Epsilon a full roster. Activity levels for several pilots are through the roof, especially in Star Conflict, which bodes well for performance in next month’s Raise the Flag. LC Gyssler continued to shine in both SP and MP competition, receiving awards for Star Conflict and Wing I competition activity. It’s good to see new names on the killboards as well. The awards for “Ace of the Month” will be hotly contested in the next few weeks.

Recruitment continues across the TIE Corps, with more squadrons potentially being opened to take on the new pilots. Star Conflict has been an excellent MP platform in this respect, as well as lacking compatibility issues. Commodore Elwood launched an IWATS competition for Wing I, in an effort to promote more use of the Imperial Academy courses. CMDR Kroan is still the go-to uniform rendering specialist. The TC mailing list continues to produce hundreds of emails a week, which prompted me to introduce more incoming email filters. The regular reports from the Combat Operations Officer are appreciated; although the Tactical Office remains relatively quiet at this point (promises of bug fixes notwithstanding). Raise the Flag has been confirmed as running through June, with early indications suggesting the Hammer is the stronger ship.
