Commodore's Thoughts

Big news this week is the arrival of our fresh new recruit, SL Zephon, who joins Kappa Squadron. He was recruited by CM Starkillerny, nice job Star! This puts us up to 34 pilots on the Warrior out of a possible 37. Which is great for our prospects of opening up Sin Squadron in the near future.

The bad news is, I have received one MSE to date... (hint hint gentlemen...) and we may have some AWOLs on our hands. This is a perfectly acceptable setback, as we should probably concentrate on our activity levels with Raise the Flag looming at our doorstep. Honour is at stake gentlemen, we have nearly a month to prepare. As for those two other commanders... Let's snap to it! Sooner they're in, the sooner they're out.

The free mission plotline competition is over. The winner is ... Captain Plif! Who's IS-SR is pending. I will come into contact with the good captain about building the mission shortly, and we should expect to have it available for a ship competition sometime after RTF.

With the conclusion of that competition comes the start of a new one. It is my pleasure to announce the beginning of our first COM Protector/COM's Wingman competition! The details are pending but they are as follows:

I have flown TIE Free 278. Anyone who beats my score will be awarded the IS-BW. The top score will be awarded the IS-GW and given the title of Commodore's Protector to display on his ID Line until the next competition unfolds. The two best runner ups will be awarded the IS-SW, and given the title of Commodore's Wingman. I will e-mail you the full details once the admiralty gives us the go ahead, but feel free to start hammering away at TIE Free 278! You have until May 24th.

We will alternate between platforms between rounds of COM Protector/Wingman competitions over my tenure here. We'll start with TIE and hopefully one day round it up with SWAS... Hopefully.

Conclusion

It has been another proud week for the ISD Warrior. I saw dozens of LoCs and some nice old school SP flying activity which makes me a happy Commodore. I look forward to seeing you guys beat my score in droves.
