Opening Remarks
***NOTE**** Due to my LOA this weekend this report is a bit late but that couldn't be helped and I waited a bit to see if the site would be fixed (YAY!) so i can make sure i had good PoM numbers. The PoM/Y numbers will now go to the Fl's to verify so the number's listed here still may change. Starting this week we now have a Google Doc that the FL's and Myself can keep a better handle on these points for quicker medals!
FYI – NEW COMPETITIONS – See the Comps section for more details but once the remaining few get through the approval process we will have 5 comps to start May off right. Also remember the NEW Kappa Trivia starts on Thursday May 1. Look for the email or the competition listings for Details. Otherwise just email Capt. Plif or I with questions.
General News
Good News – TCCOM and the SOO have reported that the site issues are resolved and medal and BSF processing should be back to normal as of now.
March's MSE medals have been Awarded These Medals are the last one's from Woody as out Squad CMDR. I will be writing my first MSE in the next couple of Days to submit to our COM HA Frodo.

Flight Leader CPT Plif Kappa 2-1
Awarded a BRONZE STAR and a MoC:BOC

From (Woody) Gamma CMDR's MSE: Since joining Gamma in late February CPT Plif didn't stop flying. He managed to get 68 SC MP victories during March, even though his Graphic Card was damaged and left him unable to fly SC for a big part of the month. And not enough he also managed to complete 82 SP missions with lots of new HS during his SC less time and finish 5 IU courses. For all this I recommend him for a Bronze Star of the Empire.
SOO's review: Agreed. Agreed 100% with CMDR's recommendation. No less than 82 missions flown and 68 LoCs coming from his multiplayer victories, yet he says the captain was unable to fly Star Conflict for half a month. And those five passed Courses (not all them IWATS though) with perfect scores, successful participation on squadron-level competitions with several Iron Stars coming from them, keeping his uniform always up to date, strong e-mail presence and overall excellent communication levels, not to mention the fulfillment of his duties as Flight Leader. With such credentials I see no reason to not award Captain Plif The Bronze Star of The Empire and start thinking on something even higher for extended periods of activity, both as a pilot and as a Flight Leader, now within the ranks of the stellar Kappa Squadron.
TCCOM's comments: This guy makes me really proud. Agreed, of course.

Squad to do List:
If there are simple things i see that need to be done I'll list them here but for now here are some housekeeping items all member's need to do since we moved to a new ISDII and a new Squad.
1. All member's should up load your new UNIFORMS ASAP. Someone spent a lot of time redoing them for you so please use them. This is also a Squad Requirement gentlemen. If you need help doing so please let your FL know and they will help you upload your uniform to the Database and your profile.
2. Fly Missions ... Kappa only has 8 Citations and we need to change that!!!
3. Recurit New members – Its time to fill in our ranks and get more activiy flowing! Remember MoI's are awarded for recuriting new members so go get them!
Squad Orders/Guidelines (not the fun part of the report but it’s important)
1) Real Life Comes first – If at any time a Squad Member or any EH member’s Real life prevents them from being active or if they need a extended LoA no one in this Flight will show that member any Malice or any ill will. Anything can happen to anyone at any time and we need to respect that. This serves as a reminder that this club comes second to any Real Life Issues and as such We will always wish that member well and on the member return they will be welcomed back with open arms.
a. Any Member facing a real life situation should report to the FL or Squad CMDR as soon as they are able to. This way we can record your LoA and not bother you with constant AWOL checks.
b. If you don’t report in then the TC’s AWOL policy will be followed.
2) Remember to always follow the EH’s CoC. http://www.emperorshammer.org/page.php?page=coc , the cheating policy http://www.emperorshammer.org/page.php?page=cheat and the Articles of War http://www.emperorshammer.org/page.php?page=aow
3) Report about activity before I release next weekly flight report (Reports will be prepared approximately on Saturday Evening’s at about 7:00pm EST). Even if you did nothing you should still report and say that you did nothing.
4) Keep activity on good level (IU/IWATS, flying or anything you can do). This club is about activity and fun, not just boring hang around
5) Participate in Competitions! Those are designed and run to give YOU something to have fun with.
6) Make Suggestions if you come up with a idea that the Squad could benefit from please email your FL or Myself with your idea and a quick write up on how we can implement it. All Suggestions will be considered. They might not be enacted but they will be considered.
7) On any email about any Squad/ Flight level event or discussion please make sure all FM’s are cc’ed. This way we all know what we are all up to and can be a part of the team. Of course Emails of conflicts or problems should be emailed to your FL and myself as your chain of Command.
