Welcome to the twentyfirst Century Fox... I mean Beta Squadron Weekly Report!

We had yet another laid back week, but thankfully a bit more active than the last one. We've got some exciting news that we will read in the TCCOM's report hopefully tomorrow, and then we will rewrite history! Or just write it.

Beta's Training Excersize is still active with TIE-TC #244, go ahead and fly it! This report is a bit late because I was actually flying it, I'm hoping to report it fairly soon (halfway through)!

We've also got some decent amount of shinies, so I don't have anything to complain about really. Except for the Citation Hunt :P Nobody wants wings, or what?

Trivia wise we are still running along with OK participation levels. I've heard that my questions are super-easy, so I'm dumbfounded as of why only 3-4 pilots take part in it?

Willard Huyck and Gloria Katz, old film-school friends of George Lucas, did uncredited rewrites on the screenplay. 20th Century Fox refused to pay them a fee, insisting that Lucas pay them out of his own salary. He eventually gave them some of his own profit points as a reward. The rebel General who talks to Princess Leia on her arrival at Yavin IV is named 'Willard' after Huyck.

Kenath Zoron: Lieutenant Colonel Zoron has been decorated with a Palpatine Crescent, along with a Medal of Communication with Bronze Oak Cluster, and (for participating in the Mjölnir competition) two Iron Stars: one with a Bronze Ribbon and another with a Silver Ribbon. Congratulations!

Daniel Stephens: Colonel Stephens got awarded the Palpatine (or Palestine?) Crescent! Congratulations!

Julon Lommax: Lieutenant Commander Lommax has been presented with a Medal of Communication with Silver Oak Cluster, as well as two Iron Stars for trivia: one with a Bronze and one with a Silver Ribbon! He also earned a Commendation of Bravery for flying well over 30 combat missions! Excellent work, commander, keep it up!

Kyle Kroan: Major Kroan has earned himself a Palpatine Crescent, and for winning the Mjölnir competition's nickname division, an Iron Star with Gold Ribbon! Woot!

Legions of Combat went out to: Julon Lommax and Kenath Zoron (10 and 2). Congrats!
