Welcome to the seventh Beta Squadron Weekly Report!

We had a laid-back week, most of the visible activity goes to colonel Zoron once again. I forgot to update the squad on the standings in the Training Excersize: Lieutenant Lommax scored 129.074 points, so he got closer to Zoron, who has 167.674 points at the moment. It's not too late for the others to fire up TIE and fly the T/A training missions for a chance to win an IS-SR or BR!

The Citation Hunt is not going as planned, we still need at least one more pilot to fly TIE TC-17 to get our second citation. After that, we'd still need 3 more... come on, folks, let's get to it! Nothing better than blowing up some ships in space, while whistling Christmas tunes and taking sips of our gingerbread flavored tea.

Lommax and myself managed to find the free time to go down to the simulation room and fly some ancient machines of war in planetary atmospheres, the name of the holo was World of Warplanes. We had a great time!

On sadder news, Commander Zeke Freeman could not be located so far, so while a search party is out there looking for him, we moved him off the roster. To balance out Zeke's departure, please welcome a new arrival, Sub-Lieutenant Ragnar Thorzan! Great to have you aboard, lieutenant, we'll look forward to hearing from you!

The weapons the stormtroopers used were essentially Sterling L2A3 9mm sub-machine guns, with the curved side magazine removed. The longer sandtrooper weapon was the German MG-34 machine gun.

Kenath Zonor: for his excellent combat performance, our colonel has bagged 15 Legions of Combat, and a Distinguished Flying Cross for being the first to reach 10 LoC's in a week! He also got presented with an Iron Star with Silver Ribbon for second place in the Returnee's Fiction activity.

Jarion Renald: For recruiting SL Thorzan, Renalds has been presented with the Medal of Instruction! Congratulations!

Tek Selkirk: Tek has been decorated with an Iron Star with Gold Ribbon for first place in the Returnee's Fiction activity! Excellent work, Major!
