Beta Squadron Weekly Report #1

Welcome to the very first Beta Squadron Weekly Report after 5-6 years, which also happens to be my very first Squadron Report in general! I am very excited to see where will we end up in 6 months, I'm sure we will bring death to those darned Raptors!

I'd also like to welcome Lieutenant Colonel Zoron and Sub-Lieutenant Upside! With a veteran and a fresh recruit on my side, I'm sure Beta will achieve great things, like finally stealing the TCCOM's booze stash... but I digress.
The first thing I did after I made sure that the Commander's Cabin was appropriately cleaned, dusted and repainted, was that I added a Squadron Patch and a Squadron Banner. I think the Beta patch was already in TTT2 (I could be wrong, though, I was testing some squad patches a few months ago), so I just had to mess around in Paint and Word to get the banner. I also found a different patch, but it mentions the SSSD Sovereign, and my graphical skills are not high enough to nicely remove it from the picture, so I just ignored it.
I have also changed all Squadron nicknames and mottos. Our current nickname is Death's Gambit, which is a reference to a move in the game called Derjarik - also known as Holochess.
The Flight names changed accordingly, all three of them are monsters from the aforementioned game: The (Mantellian) Savrip, the Kintan Strider and the Molator.
Our main motto is "Ad victoriam" ("To victory!"), while flight mottos are the following:

- Neca ne neceris (Kill lest you be killed)
- Accipe hoc (Take this!)
- Ave atque vale (Hail and farewell!)

Hope it's to everyone's liking.

Here I'd like to grab the chance to announce that I am looking for two Flight Leaders, if you think you have what it takes to be one, just message me and we'll talk it over. Responsibilities include:

- Being active and a role model for Flight Members
- Communicating with the FMs
- Sending weekly reports to me about the flight's status

Being certified for a TIE Advanced or a Missile Boat Mk. II is always a plus!

Star Wars Fun Fact of the Week

Wrapping Up

To victory!

That's it for the first WSR... no, wait! I just got the news that Major Tek Selkirk has been reassigned to Beta Squadron, in the 1-4 slot! There is no way I will rewrite my whole Report (I spent like 4 hours making this, with the constant interruptions from my family :) ), but feel welcomed, Major! I guess Section E-201G, next to Zoron's quarters would suffice?

I'm quite happy how this is turning out, let's make the TCCOM proud and do some great flying out there!

Give 'em Hell, Gentlemen!
