TIE Corps Command Report
Weekly Report #35 – Submission date: November 10th 2013
Introduction

Greetings,

Due to the recent influx of pilots in the TIE Corps, yesterday we saw a new squadron forming aboard the ISD-II Hammer. Beta Squadron has been created to allow more room for the arriving pilots, and also to create a few more command positions, so our fleet can continue growing. Commander Kyle Kroan has been selected to lead this new squadron, and as such he has transferred from Delta to Beta. Congratulations, CMDR Kroan, and good luck in Beta!

If I’m not mistaken, despite the restructures that have happened in the past years, Beta is the first squadron to be actually opened ever since Blue Squadron was commissioned aboard the MC-80 Redemption back in 2008. It’s always good times when this happens. I just wish we could open a second ship. Get your friends back from inactivity, guys! Hey, Frothy, want to be Commodore in a ship where everybody else isn’t sleeping? Bring some pilots back with you and I’ll give you an ISD, and you can keep your rank! Better yet, we’ll make Tempest your WC…promise I won’t promote you to COL, Temp ;)

Besides CM Kroan, the new Beta Squadron was also joined by a new recruit, SL Upsidexumop, and by a veteran coming back from the Phoenix, LC Kenath Zoron, who has hit the ground running, already passing 4 IU courses. Welcome to the fleet, gentlemen!

Our newest member, SL Upside is an MP’er, whose platform of choice is Star Conflict, and he arrives at the fleet in the middle of a great MP activity, since many members were awarded Legions of Combat this week. Keep it up, people!

Delta Squadron was joined by CPT Ras Kronar earlier this week! Welcome back, Captain, hope you have a great time in Delta this time around!

Phase 4 of The Karana Initiative is nearing its end, and I was happy to see that several pilots took advantage of the deadline extension we allowed. There are a few hours left on the competition, so fly TIE-TC 245 if you haven’t already!

Colonel BubbaX continues to create logos for the TIE Corps Admiralty. This time, it was for the TCCOM. You can check it out here: http://tc.emperorshammer.org/staff.php. Thank you, Bubba!

New uniforms uploaded this week were from: CM Kyle Kroan (twice), LC Gyssler and LC Kenath Zoron. Check them out in their profiles!

Zós continues to update the arriving member’s profiles. This week’s update was for CPT Ras Kronar.

A few Order of the Vanguards have been updated this week: CPT Ras Kronar (OV-13E) and LCM Tyrian (OV-6E).

Alpha and Epsilon Squadrons have also submitted their Monthly Squadron Evaluations for October, and medals have been awarded throughout the fleet. Congratulations to COL Mark Schueler, COL Anahorn Dempsey, COL Dunta Polo, LC Elwood the Brave and CPT John T. Clark on their Bronze Stars of the Empire! Also, congrats to COL Zósite Konstyte Styles, LC Impulse, CM Kyle Kroan and LC Gyssler for their Palpatine Crescents! Actually, LC Gyssler received 2 PCs, one for October MSE, and one overdue for September MSE. Keep up the great work, Gyssler! Finally, Congrats to GN Gilad Pellaeon and CM Shado Fenn on their Imperial Security Medals! Well done, everyone!

As for database updates, COL Zósite has completed the Emperor’s Hammer Strike Fleet’s Craft List in the new TIE Corps database. Check it out here: http://tc.emperorshammer.org/craftlist.php. Also, Zós has updated all craft images in the Squadron rosters. Besides that, as of now Squadron Commanders have the ability to recommend Palpatine Crescents and Iron Stars with Silver Wings and Ribbons, as a trial period for the TIE Corps Pilot Manual update currently being worked on.

Sadly, it’s not all good news, since Delta Squadron, which was complete with 12 pilots early this week, had to say goodbye to LT Gillead, CPT Aija Alura Judarrl and CM Sergeyli. Besides them, CPT Viper has also left Gamma Squadron for the reserves. This was all expected due to the inactivity of these officers in a while, but we do hope you guys manage to come back soon! You will be missed.

Quotes of the Week

1 – CM Kyle Kroan: “What a glorious day!”

Indeed it was!

2 – COL Zósite: “And what about some mayonnaise on those chips? Are you gonna eat that? What's The Secret of Monkey Island? How many bollocks are allowed per e-mail according to EH AoW? :-P”

CPT John T. Clark: “There’s a bollock limit?”

Why no one ever told me that? :P

3 – CM Kyle Kroan: “…problem is, I'm so scared of TIE freezing my computer in the middle of a mission, that I don't even pay attention to what I'm shooting at…”

O_o

4 – CM Kyle Kroan: “…and the problem was that I started to fire at the CRS... baaaad move.”

It’s only a bad move if the CRS is the Redemption…otherwise, well done! Send those Calamari to my plate :)
