STRATEGIC OPERATIONS OFFICER
Report #13, 5 July 2013

Opening Comments

Another gap of two weeks since my last report, apologies on that front but unfortunately RL demands have made my timings erratic as ever. As an aside I will be unavailable from Sunday for 4 days due to a work visit to an airbase (joy...), I'm not expecting major issues in the interim, but the TCCOM or COO will be on hand to sort anything out as it rears its head. Congratulations have been made to the new COO, RA Crsepe, who I am sure will head up our MP efforts with the level of experience and enthusiasm we need, as well as the new Gamma CMDR, MAJ Elwood the Brave, who takes over from Mark. We all look forward to the day when we can welcome him back amongst our ranks, until then I wish him well in his continued role as EH Logistics Officer.

The Phase 3 component of the Karana competiton series will be released after this report, an XvT mission will be attached and submissions will follow the rules and regs as used for the XWA section. For those in doubt the rules will be reissued, it is important to note that squadrons have another chance to wrest TCCOMs Own Escort Squadron from Delta! I have high hopes that we can better our performance and participation from the previous round, and that will start from your CMDRs and Admirals - use the TC group for queries, any unknown bugs, or other similar issues, there is always someone who will benefit from a question they haven't asked themselves.

Fleet Status

The TCCOMs previous reports have included all relevant news, medals, and appointments. As previous, congratulations to the new COO and Gamma CMDR - the former of which has also been awarded a BS for his activity in the month of June! I am currently processing Delta's MSE and look forward to seeing a lot more awards in the coming days.

Weekly Orders

We appear to have broken the back of the Void Raptor insurgency, with a further two week period having elapsed with no noted attacks attributable to their group. Experience has shown us, at cost, that they are an elusive foe. While we have burned their shipyards, sought out their lairs, and at every opportunity pursued them with extreme prejudice, they have slunk beyond our reach - across borders we cannot cross, or into areas we are unable to follow, the sections of our own territories too inhospitable for us. While time passes and public interest or memory fades they will be using the time wisely. They have already shown logistics and support beyond that of a mere private gang, and it is clear they have a significant network within and without our borders. They will be using this time and their network to rearm, refit, and return.

Duquesne continues to elude our operatives and agents, but recent intel has had more luck in tracking down shell corporations and faked manifests linking back to a number of Raptor holdings. The VSD Verstoren is currently following leads into black market and smuggling contacts, and at present this is our main effort. In the meantime the Hammer is continuing border patrols and snap checks of border stations and outposts. A number of pilots will be supporting the Verstoren directly, standby for notice of temporary transfer. For now, keep alert, keep active, and keep the watch.

Alert status has been reduced but remains at INCREASED, duty CAP squadron is Delta. An additional Flag Officer has joined us and will be taking direct control of combat operations and training, all flights can expect short notice taskings and assessments. Do your best and maintain our reputaion as the TC's elite wing...

Conclusion

All pilots stand-by for further briefing...
