Introduction

Welcome to this week’s TCCOM report,

Work on our new database continues with several profile updates. This week we saw the release of the Mission Creation Center. Check it on the left menu of the TC site. It’s amazing how everything about this database works well, and I’m glad to see that whatever adjustments we suggest to make it more practical are promptly done by COL Zósite. The result could not be other than the creating of the most impressive tool for management and enjoyment of the TIE Corps. For an instance, I just approved all medal recommendations for Dempsey’s Anniversary Bash competitions, and it took me no time at all to approve over 30 medals. By the way, congratulations to the people who won the awards, and to everyone else who participated.

After a bit more delay than we anticipated, phase 4 of The Karana Initiative has been released. The so much expected TIE battle is already on the compendium, waiting for you to fly for your squadron’s sake in this competition. I am sure that whichever squadron is my new escort squadron will have earned it, like Alpha did last time. Go fly TIE-TC 245!

This week we saw the arrival of a new member to our ranks. Welcome to Len Eode, who joined Alpha Squadron as a Sub-Lieutenant, and due to his IWATS activity, he has just been promoted to the rank of Lieutenant! Congratulations, LT Eode, and, again, welcome to the fleet, we’re glad to have you here! For assisting in his training, CM Lanil Jast has been awarded the Medal of Instruction! Congratulations!

Work on the TIE Corps Pilot Manual is ongoing, with the TAC bit already been submitted by High Admiral Dempsey. We should hear more in the coming weeks, and you’ll be notified of the developments.

As it was announced last week, the Multiplayer Ace of the TIE Corps competition has been released by the Combat Operations Officer. Be sure to participate, as big medals will be up for brags. Since we only have a couple months left for this year, the IS-PW will not be available, but you can count it will be for next year’s version. Go fly!

On the updated uniforms front, I was glad to see that VA Pellaeon, a former TC flag officer, has updated his, as well as FA Jarek La’an! Check them out!

Besides the Karana battle, a new TIE-Free mission has been released, by COL Mark Schueler. Go check TIE-Free 285 too!

Description: The MP Kill Board will used to keep track of points. Each LoC earns you a point for the competition, and a DFC counts for 5 points. Whoever scores most points win. The numbers on the MP KillBoard at the end of the month are the numbers that are tallied. If there are three participants then IS-GW/SW/BW, if only two IS-SW/BW, etc. XWA, XvT, Star Conflict, and Freelancer-Freeworlds are the authorized platforms for this competition.
