Wing News
.Very nice to see so much flight activity of late; particularly from LCM Dunta Polo and LT Sergeyli of Tempest. I’ve also seen quite a few entries for the currently running Tempest Squadron competition, ”The Aftermath of Hoth”. Keep up the great work everyone.

I’m ashamed to say that not one member of Wing X could be bothered to create a new banner for the TIE Corps roster page. Thus, the IS-SW I had reserved will not be awarded. I am however, very proud to say that we do have a new banner after all, thanks to Lazuli, the g/f of LCM Tyrian. It is her outstanding artwork on display at the TC Roster page when you click on Wing X. My thanks, Lazuli.

Details: Each week the pilot who is deemed to have the best participation records, whether it be IWATS, flight activity, MB posting or whatever, will be awarded an IS-BW. The pilot with the best record per month will receive an IS-SW.

Medals: IS-SW for the Pilot of the Month and IS-BWs for each Pilot of the Week (All medals for flying activity).

Details: All Tempest Squadron pilots are called to go and fly XvT-TC 132: 'The Aftermath of Hoth'. After tasting the new XvT look of such a classic only a true rain of shinies for those who proved themselves worthy can be expected. So far, at the end of the comp. The Wicked CMDR of Tempest will check those scores and award an IS-BW to the highest scorer on EACH MISSION. NO IS-BW for battle highscore because chances are on one pilot getting way too many IS-BWs for this. Then, all 'Riders on the Storm' are also called to write a little fiction of themselves performing on one of those 6 missions as if it would be a debriefing of their own accomplishments on that particular mission. Then, under judgement from The Wicked CMDR of Tempest, the best entry will get an IS-BR, no matter if he got any flying IS-BW or not. BUT! All this in case there're AT LEAST 3 PILOTFILE ENTRIES for this one; on only 1 or 2 entries only 1 IS-BW will be awarded per pilotfile entry for participation and that's it, NO IS-BWs for highscores. The IS-BR for best fiction will be awarded regardless of number of pilotfile entries as long as there's at least one fiction there. All pilot files and fictions must be one my desk BEFORE 03/01/2009 GMT+1 morning.
