Epsilon Squadron Weekly Report #22

CMDR-TCS-PROF/CPT Dunta Polo reporting in for Epsilon Squadron on 6th March, 2010.

Welcome to the first report of my command here in Epsilon. My introductory email was met with prompt replies from all pilots, which was notable given that two are currently on leave. I appreciate the good communication, keep it up. Apart from myself there was not any flying activity, although I am aware that COL Exar Kit is balancing a number of roles in EH subgroups at the moment, as well working on a squadron website.


TIE Corps News

Wing I News

• HA Frodo March has started two new competitions for Wing I, Citation Race and SOO’s Wingman.

• Delta Squadron Commander Giovanni Palermo has moved on to a supporting role at the Security Office, his former position is currently open for applications.


Squadron Status

• We are now at 8 pilots due to MAJ RichyV’s departure to the reserves.

• Flights I and II need mottos and nicknames, submissions are welcome.

• All pilots reported in this week.

• I'm currently looking for ideas for new squadron competitions; non-flying ones please as Epsilon Flier of the Month has already been reinstated.

• We now have 27 citations, up from 22 last week.

Closing Thoughts

Overall a fairly quiet week for my second command in the TC, although I suspect you’re all mourning the loss the of MAJ RichyV still ;-)

On a more serious note, please participate as much as possible – there are no less than 9 competitions open, failing that you can get involved in recruitment, just general communication, flying or perhaps help with creating a squadron website. It is getting a little lonely up here on the leaderboard :p

This doesn’t apply to those of us currently on leave of course, but do keep in touch when you can. I see great potential in LT Makarin in particular and I look forward to her return to the squadron. I’ll be doing my best to participate in the wave of new competitions this month myself (particularly Frodo’s, if I can get over my phobia of TIE Fighter ;-).

Anyway I think that covers things for this week. If you need help with something, want to discuss an issue, have any ideas for TC stuff - let me know, I usually have a 24 hour email turnaround time.
