January awards
The first month of
2017 is over. So, it is time to hand out some nice awards. The IS- GW awards for
the Kill Boards goes to GN Dempsey for PvP and for
Coop to myself.
The DFC this month goes to COL Aznable and to GN Dempsey with both 18 points.
GN Dempsey manged to get the IS-GW for the COO Monthly Assignment as well. A
good month for the former HA, all in all.
New month
With the new month,
I want to try something new. A slightly greater comp and more awards. The COO
monthly assignment will track the highest EFF points from SC in all three
modes: PvP, PvE and AI.
The aim of this competition is to get the highest efficiency points in
a single PvP, PvE and AI battle in Star Conflict.
When there are 6 or more participants in the end of
the month IS-GW will be handed out for the overall winner (summed up
efficiency points of all three parts). An IS-SW for the 2nd; IS-BW
for the 3rd.
An IS-SW will be handed out for the winner of each
section, an IS-BW for the 2nd.
Every victorious screen counted, even when it does
not fulfil the requirements for a LoC/LoS.
Submissions to this competition are made through the database like any other
24/7 LoC/LoS submission. While processing, the COO and COOA keep an eye out
for new personal bests and update the shared spreadsheet Even
NON LoC/LoS screen can be submitted this way and will be approved by the COO
staff without LoC/LoS.

COMBAT EVENTS
|
COO's Monthly Challenge 2017 - January- whole
TC
This Combat Event will be for the Distinguished Flying Cross for November.
Your goal will be to submit a victory screenshot with the highest number of
kills + half assists you can get in one round of and Star Conflict PvP matches. For this event, Assists are counted, but
only at half weight and we round down. If a pilot finishes a match with 10
kills and 5 Assists, the score for the match would be recorded as 12.
Submissions to this competition are made through the database like any other
24/7 LoC submission. While processing LoCs, the COO and COOA keep an eye out
for new personal bests and update a shared spreadsheet.

COO's Star Wars
Challenge; Episode III - whole TC
The COO's Star Wars Challenge is a competition designed to promote and reward
the playing of MP matches based on a Star Wars platform. Simply submit your
MP Screenshot report as normal, and the COO and COOA will track the number of
matches played on any Star Wars MP platform, such as XvT,
XWA, BF3, and all other approved MP platforms. Both PvP
and PvE matches count towards a pilot's total. The player with the highest
overall Star Wars based MP victories will win each month, and for the year
over all. Normal Screenshot submission requirements apply. Screenshots that
are submitted that were not taken in a given month, or very close to the
start of it, will not count towards that month's total, but will count for
the yearly total.

TIE Corps on Mission Results
|
This
competition is a multiple parts competition for Battlefront 3.
The
different weekly parts are split up, based on the different information you can
find on the screens for BF3.
Here the
goals for the different parts of the screens:
Score: highest score
Kills: most kills
Deaths: lowest counted deaths – tie breaker in the same amount of
deaths is the numbers of kills
For the
monthly part of the TCoM competition a points system will be used. For each
victory in one of the weekly sections of this competition the winner will
gain 4 points, second gains 3, third gains 2 and every other participant
gains 1 point. Even if only 1,2 or 3 TIE pilots participate the 1st place
still gains 4 points, 2nd 3 points and so on. Those points will be added up
until the last sunday of a month and then the
monthly winner will be announced based on those points.
Every
participating pilot that isn't eligible for a medal reward from this
competition earns himself an TCoM-activity point for each match type he
participated in per week.
But A perfect screen might earn you a medal or
points for the monthly part in more than one category. Still you might earn a
max of 1 activity point per screen and only if that one didn't win a medal in
this comp and only for categories you didn't win a medal for in that week.
5 activity points = IS-BW
10 activity points = IS-SW
After
gaining 25 activity points, the pilot's points will be reset to 0.
The stats
will be tracked by the COO and COOA, while processing the screens. The
results will be announced in the COO Report.
Units
involved: entire TC incl. CS
Medals to be won: -
IS-SW/IS-BW for every part (weekly)
-
IS-GW/IS-SW/IS-BW for 1st, 2nd and 3rd based on the points earned (points

COO´S RIDDLE
|
Every week I will include an encoded
transmission in my COO report. Your task will be to decode the transmission.
The code will be slightly different every week,
but follow a basic pattern. The letters will be moved for a given number of
positions in the alphabet to the right or left.
The theme of the transmission will be the Star
Wars based and a hint will be given.
The first pilot sending the correct answer to
the mailing list wins.
Each victory earns you an IS-BR. 5th victory
will be updated to an IS-SR, 10th to an IS-GR and 25th to an IS-PR.
