OVERVIEW

Here we go with another TCCOM report. By his own wish, Colonel Hawkins was transferred from Sin 2-4 to Kappa 1-4. I hope you're feeling at home again in your old quarters, Hawk! ***** Epsilon Flight III has a new Flight Leader. Congratulations go to Lieutenant Nathan Cole on his promotion to Flight Leader! I am sure you'll do a great job, Lieutenant! ***** With the new year we'll see a lot of changes in the TIE Corps. Mostly command position changes. The Hammer and Warrior will see new Commodores being installed. Lieutenant Colonel Miles Prower will take over the helm on the ISD II Hammer and Colonel Len Eode will take command of the ISD II Warrior. Congratulations to the both of you. I'm sure you'll both do a great job! In addition to this Delta will be commanded by a new Commander, too. General John T. Clark is stepping down to a Flight Member spot within Delta, and Major Phoenix Berkana will take over. With Lieutenant Miles Prowers promotion to Commodore, Epsilon will see a new CMDR, too. This is gonna be Commander Drake Starfire. ***** The bug hunting on the database continues. And there are a good bunch of those still remaining and worked on by High Admiral Anahorn Dempsey. Use the database as mch as you can to find any and all bugs still remaining. If you found a bug, take a screenshot and send it to the good High Admiral cc'ing Fleet Admiral Pellaeon and myself. Even though most bugs that are still present might only be found by COM+ level administration access members. ***** TIE Corps on Patrol will go into another round , starting on 1st January. The first missions for TCoP - 2017 can be found in the TCoP section of this report. Talking about competitions. The TCCS has decided on a slight change for the weekly TC wide competitions. So far those have granted between 3 and 5 IS-SW and IS-BW per week each. This accumulated to nearly 70 IS-SW and 70 IS-BW per month just for the TCoP, TCoR, TCAI and TCoM comps. With our current number of active members this is a little excessive. That's why we decided to reduce the medal load coming from those comps. Now each of these comps will give only 1 IS-SW and 1 IS-BW for the overall 1st and 2nd in each comp each week, instead of the 1 IS-SW and 1 IS-BW for the 1st and 2nd in each section of each comp. that way the medal load coming from those comps will be a little less excessive while still promoting activity. ***** The Warrior MShipE for November has been submitted by Fleet Admiral La'an, and was reviewed by the SOO and myself. Awards should be out soon. MoC will have to wait until the October MShipE has been processed by me, or at least the MoC list. As a result of the November MShipE, LT Zarroc Darkblade has been declared AWOL. I hope he is fine and will find his way back to us soon! ***** The survey, if the TIE Corps should remain flying only is finished and had a clear result, even though the participation wasn't as high as I hoped it would be. Here the result of the survey: Total number of votes: 24 Yes: 11 (50 %) No: 7 (29,2 %) I don't mind: 5 (20,8 %) With only 29.2 % of votes against the flying only status of the TIE Corps I think it is a clear vote for keeping up the TIE Corps core identity as pilots. ***** With the holidays at the end of the year being there, the TC is on leave until 2nd January 2017.
