NEW RULES FOR BATTLEFRONT 3 for LoC/LoS

There are some new rules for Battlefront 3.

In the multiplayer part of the game, you have the possibility to start “private matches”.
To start those matches there, must be at least two real players.

The pilots can fight against each other (1vs.1) and the team will be filled up with bots.
Those matches will count for a Legion of Combat (LoC).

It is also possible, that both players fight together against bots only.
Matches against bots only will count for Legion of Skirmish (LoS).

Time need per match is 10 minutes.

For current competitions: all screens (LoC/LoS) will count for the COO Star Wars Challenge and MP ACE as well as MP Co-op ACE.

For all other competitions, the private matches will only count if explicitly listed in the comp description, future or present comps.

NEW BATTLEFRONT COMPETITION - TCoM

Like my predecessor I like to increase the activity in Star Wars games. That’s why and as my start as COO I like to introduce you the new monthly competition for Battlefront 3: TIE Corps on Mission (TCoM):

This competition is a multiple parts competition for Battlefront 3.

The different weekly parts are split up, based on the different information you can find on the screens for BF3.

Here the goals for the different parts of the screens:

Score:  highest score

Kills: most kills

Deaths: lowest counted deaths – tie breaker in the same amount of deaths is the numbers of kills

For the monthly part of the TCoM competition a points system will be used. For each victory in one of the weekly sections of this competition the winner will gain 4 points, second gains 3, third gains 2 and every other participant gains 1 point. Even if only 1,2 or 3 TIE pilots participate the 1st place still gains 4 points, 2nd 3 points and so on. Those points will be added up until the last sunday of a month and then the monthly winner will be announced based on those points.

Every participating pilot that isn't eligible for a medal reward from this competition earns himself an TCoM-activity point for each match type he participated in per week.

But
A perfect screen might earn you a medal or points for the monthly part in more than one category. Still you might earn a max of 1 activity point per screen and only if that one didn't win a medal in this comp and only for categories you didn't win a medal for in that week.

5 activity points = IS-BW
10 activity points = IS-SW

After gaining 25 activity points, the pilot's points will be reset to 0.

Screenshots to be sent the COO, RA Silvius and the COOA CM LeRoy.

The results will be announced in the COO Report.

Units involved: entire TC incl. CS

Medals to be won:      - IS-SW/IS-BW for every part (weekly)
                                    - IS-GW/IS-SW/IS-BW for 1st, 2nd and 3rd based on the points earned (points from all parts added together for the monthly part!)

For the rest of the year it will be monthly. If there is a high interest, if could be a yearly comp next year. So I can only encourage you to participate in it.

COO's Star Wars Challenge; Episode II - whole TC
The COO's Star Wars Challenge is a competition designed to promote and reward the playing of MP matches based on a Star Wars platform. Simply submit your MP Screenshot report as normal, and the COO and COOA will track the number of matches played on any Star Wars MP platform, such as XvT, XWA, BF3, and all other approved MP platforms. Both PvP and PvE matches count towards a pilot's total. The player with the highest overall Star Wars based MP victories will win each month, and for the year over all. Normal Screenshot submission requirements apply. Screenshots that are submitted that were not taken in a given month, or very close to the start of it, will not count towards that month's total, but will count for the yearly total.

Every week I will include an encoded transmission in my COO report. Your task will be to decode the transmission.

The code will be slightly different every week, but follow a basic pattern. The letters will be moved for a given number of positions in the alphabet to the right or left.

The theme of the transmission will be the Star Wars based and a hint will be given.

The first pilot sending the correct answer to the mailing list wins.

Each victory earns you an IS-BR. 5th victory will be updated to an IS-SR, 10th to an IS-GR and 25th to an IS-PR.

Transmission:
