Welcome to the end of July. To start off, congrats to MAJ Phoenix Berkana on his promotion to Flight Leader. As a result, the one open command position on the Hammer is once again filled.

MAJ Silvius will return from his LoA in a day or so, and resume command of Alpha Squadron. I'd like to thank the Wing Commander, MAJ Narven Task for steppoing in, even if he did botch up the trivia competition. I've been advised Alpha members have until the end of today to submit their answers.

As MAJ Task noted last week, I didn't even notice reaching Tan in the Combat Ratings. It's good, but now I have to start focussing my attention on something else. Guess it's back to grinding to get all my ships maxxed out on synergy, which will take awhile. ,p. in case you hadn't noticed, Star Conflict is offering you to chance to collect ship parts for premium ships. Just go into the ship tree, click on the green exclamation mark, and accept the task. Then win your 10 PvP or PvE matches on the allowed ships to earn some parts. the higher ranked the ship is you want, the more parts you need and the s,lower it is to get them. Still, it's a goal I guess.

MAJ Silvius isn't the only one who's on loA, as both the SOO and TCCOM are away as well. Nevertheless, the TCCOM has put in another report. Yay.

In case you are wondering: the Hammer's 5 recommendations for the Commendation of Loyalty are submitted to the TCCOM. In a week or two the FC should announce who will be awarded one of these medals.

Speaking of recommendations - this is the last day of July - Commanders, get to work, I would like to see your MSEs on my desk no later than Sunday. You can submit em on Friday of course but I will be away from Friday until Sunday, so that won't do much.

Last for the week: it seems (unless something crazy happens today) that I managed to bink all 3 of the killboards this month. It helps that the most prolific MP players haven't been able to fly much the last few weeks or so, but yay me :)
 

I'm glad to announce I have been unable to actually expell any pilots from Alpha this last week. The trivia didn't go exactly as planned, although I'm not sure why. Still, the IS-BR is still up for grabs and will be awarded tomorrow morning.

Right after that I will release a squadron report I hope.

While I'm preparing for my last day as Alpha Commander, I have already packed my things and getting ready to move back to my own quarters. Which are a lot bigger then where I'm bunked now. I do apologize to LCMs Renalds and Antu and COL Aznable for temporarily evicting them from their quarters, but I did need a little room. I hope they enjoyed being bunk mates with CMs Archenksov and Gaunt, and COL Pryde.
