-==Intro/CMDR Rant==-
Welcome to the weekly Beta Squadron report, home to streetwalkers, blow, and TIE Fighter addicts. Not to be confused with Tie Fighter addicts which fail at life. The day that is ending as I write this, June 25th, is (apparently) Bartender and Mixologist Day! Thank your local barkeep before you pass out drunk!
In between drinking sessions, we've been in the midst of RtF '16! Beta is maintaining its position in the middle of the pack as the fourth place squadron for this year's event, about 1,000 points behind Alpha. Another one of our guys joined the fight, bringing us up to 25% participation in the annual event thus far. Hopefully a few more can join the fight before this competition ends next week.
Five more days left in the month so time for one last push for monthly awards and for RtF points before we all pass out for the month of July.
Finally, I'm thinking about running a weekly trivia competition for the Squad if there's enough interest. Let me know if that's something you'd enjoy and I'll work on putting something together!
