* There is no longer an open Flight Leader position in Beta, as CM Zeke Freeman has joined us from the RSV's to take that position. Welcome to the Hammer and to the squadron!
* Merit awards for May were handed out and congratulations to our own LT Alima for being awarded the Bronze Star of the Empire! Congratulations on a strong month of May and your well-deserved medal! A big shout-out to LT Aetius for taking in an Imperial Security Medal for tackling some TIE battles as part of his strong May as well!
* Big news is we're in the middle of RtF! Alas, it's not going well for the Hammer as the Warrior is slowly pulling ahead of us. Beta is holding strong at fourth place as a Squadron although there has only been participation from two of us. If you have any interest in flying any SP or MP this month, I strongly encourage you to do it during the bonus weeks! I'm getting all of the MP out of my system this week and then it's back to SP flying for the final bonus week!
* Speaking of MP, I finally sucked it up and purchased Battlefront 3 this week since it was 50% off for the Standard edition, and I'm enjoying the Fighter Squadron mode quite a bit. I get why a lot of people are disappointed by the game overall, but for $20 USD, it's worth it.
