Wing Commander's Weekly Briefing #1

Pilots,

For some reason it appears that my previous missives have gone unread, therefore I've been encouraged by the Admiral to "talk" to you all. Frankly I believe this to be a ridiculous notion. Nonetheless I'll be contributing the bare minimum on a weekly basis.

I did have a number of issues to highlight but after some unnecessarily blunt direction from the Commodore I will restrict them to a single issue. Please see the attached image. Thankfully I had anticipated your shocking lack of professional standards and was able to capture that shot while monitoring the training mission in question.

You will note that not a single fighter is flying in its assigned station relative to the leader. This is frankly lax discipline that will likely end in not just your fiery death but the loss of immensely valuable military hardware, for which you will be posthumously held accountable - including demotion of your cooling corpse, as well as removal of any accrued pension rights and awards.

I've been encouraged to include a joke to lighten the mood, a preposterous notion. If a joke is required I would suggest you observe the next attempt by Rho squadron to form line astern. I nearly choked on my tea.

That's all you're getting, so kindly leave.
