TALES FROM THE AGGRESSOR

FRESH MEAT Hawkins sttod on the bridge of the Aggressor, surveying the stars before him. He was sufficiently content with the performance of the TIE Corps and their various combat engagements. The forces of the Emperor's Hammer were making accpetable progress on all fronts. Which was only to be expected, of course. But what had caught Hawkins' attention in particular was how this year was drawing to a close. Much had been achieved. Missions were up, time between combat engagements was down, and, most importantly, the TIE Corps was gaining more pilots than it was losing. The general pilots of the Emperor's Hammer were little more than fodder for the guns of the so called Republic, but the pilots of the Core? They were a rarer breed. They were pilots who had flown basic TIE starfighters, even some of those that had yet to be upgraded with more modern equipment, and lived. It was rediculous that in this day and age the EH still had some tertiary squadrons in unshielded TIE fighters. Most had by now been upgraded. But the fact that many of the TC pilots had flown such craft countless times and survived was a testimony to their skill, and raised them above the more common Imperial Pilots. And, there were more coming up through the ranks. The dataslate from SL Bodhan Grayson was still only freshly processed, and his promotion to LT assured. And he was not alone. This next year would be a good one for the Emperor's Hammer. That was a certainty. Submitted by RA Hawkins

Or 23 ABY as the wiki declares it to be (although I think that should now read 24 ABY...). 2015 proved to a be a strong year for the Office of the COO, with MP activity still leading as the TC's most dominant participation activity. The number of pilots participating in MP activites was around 3 times as many in SP. I feel that this indicates that MP will continue to be an important part of the TC offering. It has been good to see the introduction of BF into the TC, and it's confirmation as an official platform, has meant we have seen some Star Wars based MP play returning to the TC. Recrutiment based on this will be a big push for 2016, as, I hope, will be gaming opportunities related to other titles connected to the films (especially Rogue One). We will keep you posted! END OF YEAR RESULTS Two competitions ended their year long run - MP Ace and MP Co-Op Ace of the TIE Corps. The MP Ace of 2015 is declared to be... FA Elwood the Brave! Congratulations on your IS-PW. 2nd and 3rd palces were held by HA Dempsey and CPT Doc respectively. The MP Co-Op Ace is... FA Elwood the Brave again! A second IS-PW is on your way. HA Demsey gains a second 2nd place, and LCM Silvius takes third. Congratualtions to all! PLANS FOR 2016 We have some interesting things planned for 2016. LCM Silvius and myself are cooking up a new competition, supported by HA Dempsey, that will allow for some quite precise tracking of your activites. If all goes to plan, we aim to create a BIG multiplayer event next November, a winter counter-point to RtF in the Summer. We will also look to some recruitment drives as BF continues to settle into the TC. If you have any great ideas for MP this year, please do get in touch!

COO COMPETITIONS FOR JANUARY / 2016

This Month's Competitions: COMBAT EVENTS COO Monthly Challenge 2016: - whole TC Combat Events will run a little differently this year, for the COO Challege. Each month, a new event will be organised, allowing us to switch between Star Conflict and BattleFront. Battelfront is up first, and so at the end of January we'll be awarding the 1st DFC for an SW game in as long as I've been COO. Must do more of that! To win, simply get the highest number of Kills + half AI Kills. Best of luck! COMPETITIONS MP Ace Of The TIE Corps 2016 - whole TC The Multiplayer Kill Board will used to keep track of points. Each LoC earns you a point for the competition, and a DFC counts for 5 points. Whoever scores most points win. The numbers on the MP KillBoard at the end of the month are the numbers that are tallied. If there are three participants then IS-GW/SW/BW, if only two IS-SW/BW, etc. At the end of the year the top 3 pilots with the most points will receive IS-PW/GW/SW. Assits will NOT be counted for this competition. Each pilot must submit at least 5 matches to qualify for the competition, (as tracked by the MP Killboard, minus any points awarded to a pilot for gaining a DFC). All normal submission requirements apply. Submissions will be processed manually by the COO and COOA through the normal MP submission process.
