ISDII WARRIOR REPORT #10
REPORTING OFFICER: Vice Admiral Plif, Commodore
DATE SUBMITTED: 27 October 2015
ANNOUNCEMENTS

In a few days, we'll be kicking off the Warrior League! LC Repulsor came up with the name and the original idea, but you can blame me for the less ambitious version we'll be running. Each month, squadrons will pair up and fly against each other in an assigned TIE, XvT, and XWA battle. Scoring is based on a percentage of the battle's high score, and the top nine scores turned in by each squadron form their total for the round. By the end of the three months the competition takes place over, each squadron will have faced off against each other squadron. There'll be a lot of Iron Stars being awarded, some monthly and quite a few more at the end. Full details are on http://tc.emperorshammer.org/competitions.php?id=2768.

The Warrior's website at isdwarrior.org underwent a major update this week, now being built in a system that allows for a lot of cool things. For example, the Observation Lounge is hosting a number of graphics created by Warrior pilots, and the Warrior Cantina is home to our works of fiction from past reports and competitions. Excellent work, Wraith!

The TIE Corps Newsletter now has a name, THE COMMODORE, and submissions are now being accepted! We have permission to award the Letter of Achievement for submissions, which gives a lot of you your chance to earn your first LoA!

Speaking of rare awards, my battle storyline competition wraps up in a few days. With cooperation from the TAC, all submissions will be reviewed for Commendation of Service eligibility.

With October nearly over, it'll be MSE time again soon. The CMDRs have been challenged to have their MSEs turned in by the end of the 5th to bring a quick resolution to the evaluations and grant awards as soon as possible!

ACHIEVEMENTS

This week in TCoP, GN Pickled Yoda once again claimed second place for all three missions and the associated IS-BWs. Well done!

In TCoR, LC Wraith claimed an IS-GW for being part of a tie for first place for the month of October and earned an IS-SW from a section of the last week. Great job!

In Warrior Trivia, LC Wraith was the winner of Week Twelve! He earned an IS-BR for his victory and an IS-SR for taking first place for October!

Second place in Warrior Trivia for October was shared between LC Miles Power and GN Pickled Yoda, who each received an IS-BR. Nice work, gentlemen!

ROSTER

FROM THE BRIDGE OF THE WARRIOR

Let's check in with our Wing Commander, Colonel Gilbert H. Frown

Q1: We heard you were so upset about Plif's appointment to Commodore that you left the Warrior and ended up on an uninhabited island somewhere having to escape from a wildfire. What really happened?

A1: Rumours of my self-imposed solitude were gravely exaggerated. I was merely partaking in one of my well deserved vacations, when the ISD Hammer came into view in the night sky. I was immediately seized by a sense of disgust, since evidently, one would prefer to not be on a planet orbited by a garbage scow. I was going to let it be, when suddenly flaming charges were shot to my island retreat.

That's when I got angry.

Q2: We also heard that the ship's doctor prescribed that you take up a hobby to help your, er, anxiety. Could you tell us about that?

A2: Hogwash. Providing briefings for your ill advised sorties is my sole purpose in life. That being said, I have been participating in a few rounds of sabacc with TIE. Unfortunately, he has yet to master to the concept.

Q3: Are you excited about the opportunity to increase your already impressive collection of LoA's?

A3: Quite so! I look forward to the day the Grand Admiral supplements my extensive medal case with more beloved Letters of Achievement! I however rue the fact that pilots such as you will also be allowed the privilege... You should stick to that poor formation etiquette you call flying!

Q4: What do you think of Sigma's new bombers?

A4: Oh how I long for the days when commanding officers would refuse ship changes out of principle. If I had things my way, you would all be flying TIE Bombers, Fighters and interceptors. Especially in Sigma!

Q5: While you were away, TIE the Goat chewed up your lecturn so much that we had to replace it. What do you think if the new lecturn?

A5: I suppose it is my fault for not explaining TIE's diet to Captain Eode before I left. Oh well. It's about time we had stylish furniture in the briefing rooms. It is only a matter of time before those Thetans wreck it.

...That's enough for now, Sir...
