OVERVIEW

On to another weekly TCCOM report with some good and some bad news. Let's start with some good news. Last week saw a couple of promotions, even some on the EH CS. Congratulations are in order to the TO Thomaas Montte on his promotion to Fleet Admiral, to the LO Mark Schueler on his promotion to Admiral, to Crix Talra and Nolij on their promotions to Major, and Xavier Sienar on his promotion to Captain. On other good news I can report that both MShipEs were processed and the medals within those should be handed out pretty soon, if they haven't been awarded allready. Congratulations to all recipients. Now to some sad news. The long term TAC, Anahorn Dempsey, decided it was about time to leave her office aboard the VSD Sinister and concentrate more on her COM duties aboard the ISD II Hammer. Over 8 years are a damn long time and I have to dig deep in my memories to remember a time without her in the TAC office. Thanks for all the work, effort and energy you've put into the EH during your time as TAC. I fear it has already been rewarded with the OOR and all the other medals and promotions you've received for it. All well deserved. I hope you'll stick with us for another couple of years as COM. I'd be honoured to keep serving with you. But fear not, pilots of the TIE Corps and members of the Emperor's Hammer, the Fleet Commander already assigned a replacement for good old MSS TAC. It's CPT Xavier Sienar, former IW TAC, that took over the helm of the VSD Sinister and the TAC office, together with a promotion to Rear Admiral. All this just one day before he received his promotion to MAJ for his TC character. Congratulations, Rear Admiral. I am sure you'll do a great job, even though Demps left you a pair of huge shoes to fill. There were a couple of roster changes/transfers last week, some of those due to the recent MShipEs from both ships. Most notably are the transfers to AWOL for CM Helionexus, LCM Nylan and COL Astin after dropping out of contact for far too long. Where there is shadow there also has to be some light. This time in the form of a return to active duty. Please all welcome back LT Benjo who rejoins us as Delta 1-4. Another transfer was the switch in position in Delta's Flight 3. Captain Mauser took over as Flight Leader there, while Commander Drake Starfire stepped down from the Flight Leader and took the Captain's Flight Member spot. With the transfer of General Coranel Both to the Flight Leader position in Beta Flight 2 we have one less Flight leader spot to fill on the Hammer. I am sure you'll do a hell of a job in your new position, General. Now we have only 3 more Flight Leader positions left open on the Hammer. Both Flight Leader spots in Alpha and the Flight Leader spot in Beta Flight 3. If you're interested in one of those Flight Leader spots, don't hesitate to contact the CMDR of the squadron, cc'ing COM/HA Anahorn Dempsey about it. And now to some other good news. The "*THIS* is the TIE Corps" competition has finally come to an end and all submissions were graded by SOO Admiral Pellaeon and myself. It was a hard choice to be made, but we've come to a decision. The winner is VA Plif's submission. Congratulations to your first IS-PR, Plif. You've earned it! The second place together with an IS-GR goes to General Pickled Yoda and third place together with an IS-SR goes to CM Archenksov. The winning entry is already displayed on the TC website.
