ISDII WARRIOR REPORT #4
REPORTING OFFICER: Vice Admiral Plif, Commodore
DATE SUBMITTED: 15 September 2015
ANNOUNCEMENTS

This week, we honor the following Warriors who were recipients of the Commendation of Loyalty. The CoL is awarded only twice a year and usually in very limited numbers, so it's a high honor to be bestowed. Congratulations, gentlemen!

  • CM Spiffy the Chicken, first award
  • CPT Hawkins, second award
  • CPT Keth Aalith, first award
  • CPT Nolij, first award
  • MAJ Flelm, second award
  • MAJ Ulrich Drachen, first award
  • LC Repulsor, second award
  • GN Jarek La'an, ninth award

Merit awards from the August MSE came out as well, congratulations to:

  • CPT Hawkins on his first Bronze Star of the Empire
  • CPT Nolij on his fourth Bronze Star of the Empire
  • MAJ Ulrich Drachen on his fifth Bronze Star of the Empire
  • LC Wraith on his sixth Palpatine Crescent
  • COL Mark Schueler on his ninth Palpatine Crescent
  • MAJ Wondra on his fourth Imperial Security Medal
  • GN Pickled Yoda on his seventeenth Imperial Security Medal

In the LO's TIE Fighter Knockout competition, four Warriors are flying matches this week: LC Tempest, GN Jarek La'an, CPT Hawkins, and myself. Good luck, gents! And to Hawkins, I say may the best pilot win! As long as a Warrior pilot wins, that's what counts.

As LC Wraith mentioned in his supplemental, I've advised the squadron commanders that I'm only expecting a squadron report every two weeks as opposed to weekly. There are plenty of reports to go around already and I want to make sure our CMDRs have a chance to fly and lead by example. Further, they'll be focusing on describing just the squadron-level competitions since other reports from my level and above cover the other competitions. Less copy/paste and duplication of effort.

Star Wars: Uprising launched this week, it's a mobile game available on both Android and iOS. Plays a bit like Diablo, but it's definitely less complex and has the disadvantage of having Rebel protagonists.

ACHIEVEMENTS

This week in TCoP, GN Pickled Yoda took second place in two of the three missions, earning two IS-BWs. Great job!

This week in TCoR, CM Xavier Sienar won two IS-GWs and two IS-BWs. Nice haul, well done!

CPT Len Eode was awarded his first IS-GR for winning the LO's Word Run-on. Good spamming work!

COL Mark Schueler won Warrior Trivia last week by quite a margin, earning him an IS-BR. Outstanding!

Your fearless leader took second place in the TIE TCoP mission (sorry Yods, it was an accident!), earning an IS-BW. I was also awarded an IS-SR from the Word Run-on, an IS-BW and two IS-SWs from TCoR, an ISM for assistance to the Logistics Office, and a BS for my work during August.

FROM THE BRIDGE OF THE WARRIOR
Let's check in with our Wing Commander, Colonel Gilbert H. Frown

So TIE ate a lot of the podium and then ran off. Yep, that sounds about right.

LT Doralt! Get me a new podium!

CONCLUSION

And that wraps up my first month as COM. It went by really quickly, with a lot of housekeeping and getting a feel for how things operate. We've got the right people on our team to do great things!

As always, the only way forward is Through.
