High Admiral Dempsey pulled on the yoke of her modified DX-9 transport and it quickly turned about. In the near distance was her ship, the mighty
Star Destroyer Hammer. She smiled. The ship would still be there upon her return. Tha nav computer beeped, and she put her hand on the hyperspace
lever. She took one last look at the Hammer, and pulled. The stars turned into lines, as the Andromeda made the jump into hyperspace.
Well, June came and went, and now it is July. Summer has finally arrived in my neck of the woods while I lick my wounds of yet another RtF lost.
Still - let's focus on the good news: several Hammer pilots exceeding their usual activity levels, and not by a small margin - one of us almost flew as many missions this month as he did the entire 11 years of his career put together! Another took the coveted Iron Star with platinum Wings, besting last year's winner to take the title of TCCOM's Wingman. Up until the 29th I thought that was me, but then overnight I went from 1st to 3rd. Oh well.
More good news: we actually did better than the Warrior and its pilots! Behold the figures comparing both ships and their best pilot (who participated in both years):

Dempsey's Weekly Riddles
Every week, the report will have a riddle. First pilot to send the correct answer to the mailing list wins. Each victory earns you an IS-BR. Unless it's a 5th victory, you then get a IS-SR. Unless it's a 10th victory, which gives you an IS-GR. A 25th victory will give you an IS-PR!
This week's riddle: Long ago, a tyrant in one of the outlying systems had two sons. Feeling his death imminent, he decided to leave his empire and fortune to the son he deemed most worthy: both received a starfighter, and were told to fly a race. Whoever's fighter crossed the finish line last would win. For two months, both fighters sat dead in space, only a few miles from the finish line. Both sons, knowing they had to make a decision fast, decided to seek out the wisest in the realm. Not soon after, both sons left the barren land of the wise man, never before running as fast as they did, on their way to the fighters, both having learned how to win.
How did the wise man tell them they could win?

Submit your StarConflict screenshots to me. For Domination and Beacon Hunt, the highest number of captures wins. For PvE, Team Battle and Combat Recon, the highest number of "kills" wins, with assists counting for half a kill (rounded up). Submissions not earning a medal will earn an activity point. First place wins an IS-SW, 2nd a IS-BW (with 2 submissions or more, otherwise IS-BW for first). Submissions earn 4 pts for 1st, 3 pts for 2nd, 2 pts for 3rd and 1 pt for others. At the end of the month, the top 3 MP flyers will earn an IS-GW, IS-SW and IS-BW. 10 activity points wins an IS-BW and every 50th activity point will earn an IS-SW. Tie breakers: kills for Domination and Beacon Hunt, Captain Kill or pure kills for Team Battle and Combat Recon.
