ISDII Warrior Report # 60 (2015-06-22)

This report was submitted by COM-TACA/HA Frodo March/ISDII Warrior

High Admiral Frodo March reporting for the ISDII Warrior on this Monday the 22nd of June 2015.

Commodore's Thoughts

Warriors,

I'd like to apologise for the late report. I'm not accustomed to working weekends, and it felt like it was Tuesday or something.

Now that everyone's bought that excuse, on with the report!

We're 22 days into the 2015 Raise the Flag competition, and at present we're doing well. Things are not rolling as strongly as they were last year, but we're still ahead of the competition. With only 8 days remaining in this important contest, we need to keep our focus.

The fiction and graphics competitions results' have been announced, and we did very well. Nine of the eleven fiction submissions were from the Warrior, and although we did not pick up the first prize, we did get the rest of the top four.

Well done to General La'an and Captain Hawkins who earned us a combined 125 points for their 2nd and 3rd place finishes. Surprisingly enough, your own Commodore (Courageous Commodore?) finished in fourth place getting us an extra 25.

These results raise questions about Flelmingway's true talents...

The Graphics Bonus Competition also ended in our favour. Congrats to Captain Hawkins on his first place finish, and General La'an on second place. Fourth was earned by GN Yoda, who's submission was first in our hearts.

The Bonus Multi-Player competition ends pretty much now. Which means we will now shift our focus on the Single Player Bonus competition finale! Here's the Cole's notes version of what you need to do:

1. Fly any or all of the following battles with the best score you can achieve:

TIE TC 202
XvT TC 132
XWA TC 8
XW IW 8

2. Send your pilot file(s) to the TCCOM and SOO, CC me and your CMDR.

This is the last bonus competition, so now's the time to give it our all. I'm already proud of you guys, but I think Frown needs some convincing... So we best get to it!

From the Bridge of the Warrior

Let's check in with our Wing Commander, Colonel Gilbert H. Frown

Q1: Colonel, is it true you are not yet impressed?

A1: Indeed. I only respond to complete and utter victory!

Q2: Don't you think you're a little picky?

A2: Not at all. If you fail a single secondary objective, or lose just one wingman, I'm going to let you know! ...With stern facial expressions!

Q3: The fact that you often give us a medal or a promotion right after may undermine your message.

A3: ...That is not a question.

...That's enough for now, Sir...

Conclusion

Although some may think the battle is all but won, don't discount the possibility of a dramatic turn around. Our resolve must be as strong as ever should we want to retain our title. Eight days remain, we must fight until the bitter end... Which is also the name of a Martini bar in Halifax Nova Scotia. I don't recommend it.

Show no mercy.

The only way forward is Through,

In service,
