Sigma Squadron Report #2 News
1.) Congrats to LCM Spiffy the Chicken on earning the Palpatine Crescent. Keep up the good work Spiffy!
2.) LC Pilf 's Empire at War competition has finished round one. LCM Spiffy and I were both defeated, but we still have one more chance to make it to the top
3.) LCM Spiffy, CPT Talra, and I all participated in Weekly Trivia. I took third, Crix took 5th and Spiffy took 11th. Remember, Warrior trivia is a good and easy way to participate each week!
4.) For those of you who play Star Conflict, the gold standards are free this weekend and are earned through flight victories starting at 50 for 3 victories!
5.) A new Sigma only recruiting competition has been approved, it will start tomorrow and last on month. Top recruiter for the month gets a shiny IS-BR!
6.) The TIE Goat has returned. If anyone sees him, make sure to tell him that COL Frown is looking for him.
7.) The MSE has been submitted and I believe that everyone has received all of their MoCs for the month.
8.) Everyone 's FCHG and Combat Ratings have been changed to reflect the new system we will be using. The system is outlined in the new TCPM. Please update your uniform accordingly.
9.) The Legion of Skirmish has been added for Co-op PvE matches. The awarding of the medal is outlined in the new TCPM.
10.) Flight III has a new nickname and a new motto. Flight III is now Acid Rain and their motto is Be the storm.
11.) RTF is on the horizon! Everyone get to their fighters and start prepping!

Competitions
Check out the Competitions Center and Combat Center for more details about competitions. Currently on the menu we have:
1.) Star Wars Commander: Persistent Strife - Until December 31st - In Star Wars Commander PvP tournament, take a screen shot of the highest score you can and send it to LC Pilf (pilf346@gmail.com). With 5 or more participants the top place gets an IS-GR (IS-SR for 2nd and IS-BR for 3rd), with 3-4 participants IS-SR for first place (IS-BR for second), for 2 participants an IS-BR will be given for first place. 2.) TIE Corps on Patrol 2015 - Until December 26th - Each Saturday the SOO will announce 1 free mission or battle for TIE, XVT, BoP and XWA. (Yes that's a total of 4 things to load into EHBL each week, not just one!) You have until the following Saturday at 0800 GMT to get the files submitted. IS-SWs and IS-BWs as appropriate. 3.) Empire at War Space Battle Tournament - May 31st - Throughout May, LC Plif will be running a double elimination tournament for Empire at War skirmish space battle. Full details here.
4.) ISD Warrior COM Protector and High Score Theft Competition - Until May 16th - Various platforms. The Pilots of the Warrior are being tested to see who is the best of the best. Pilots will be asked to go out and earn high scores on TC missions or battles. Each high score will give the pilot a point. If the high score is taken away from a Hammer pilot, they earn a bonus point. If the score is stolen from HA Dempsey herself the pilot will earn two bonus points. At the end, the top three pilots will be assigned to the COM Protector flight and top pilot gets the Title of COM Protector along with an IS-GW. More detailed info here.
5.) Warrior Trivia Season Two - Each week, LC Plif will give a link to 5 questions. Start them whenever you like, but once you start answer as quick as you can! Still waiting on week four to start up.
6.) Dempsy's Weekly Riddles - The Hammer COM will include a riddle in her weekly reports. First one to reply back with the correct answer gets an IS-BR. Higher versions available at milestone accumulations. Unlike most other trivia competitions, it is encouraged to reply-all on your answer to share it to the group (and save the Hammer COM the spam of a bunch of answers after the first one has already been received.)
7.) The GOG Games (TIE Fighter) - Until December 31st - Play through the original TIE campaigns throughout the year, rack up points, get awards. More information here .
8.) The GOG Games (X-Wing) - Until December 31st - Same thing but play as the evil Rebels on X-Wing. This one is only "half" as long as the other, with each Tour of Duty having two months to play through instead of just one. More information here.
9.) Ace of the TC (SP/MP) - Monthly - Get LoCs, fly missions and battles. Most in a month wins medals!
10.) One-Word Run-on - Keep posting words, making a story with other EH members! The thread is at the forums.
11.) Star Conflict Wingman III - Until May 31st - This will encompass all modes of Star Conflict. Your goal is to get the highest assist count in a single mission. More info here
12.) COO Monthly Challenge - Until December 31st - This competition will be for the coveted DFC. Your goal will be to submit a victory screenshot with the highest number of kills you can get in one round of Star Conflict's Domination or Team Battle modes. So in other words, you will need to get as many kills as you can during Domination or Team Battle. More info here.
13.) Sigma Recruitment - Until June 11th - The Sigma Squadron member who recruits the most new members who make it to LT in one month wins! More info here.

*ISDII Warrior Mess Hall, Len walks the food line picking up a sandwich. He walks over and sits down with Crix and Spiffy* Hey guys, make sure your flights are on standby. RTF is coming and you know how COL Frown just loves to...*Crix points discretely behind Len and clears his throat*. What do I love to do? *COL Frown asks as he grimaces down at the surprised Sigma commander*. *Len looks around and Crix speaks up* He was telling us how much you love doing paperwork, sir. *Spiffy smiles and says* Yeah and how much you love blue milk. *The COL raises an eyebrow, shakes his head and mutters something about Sigma and cleaning airlocks...*
Lots of activity this week everyone and I am really glad to see it. I 'll be sending emails out later this week. I don't have too much this week and I hope you liked the fiction I wrote. If you guys like it, I'll keep writing something short each week.
Don't forget to start recruiting for the completion and keep looking on the horizon for more Sigma only competitions to appear, including some flying based ones. We are the Sum of All Fears, we are Sigma!
