PROLOGUE
- Sub-Lieutenant Clevin reporting for duty, Sir! – said the new recruit just arriving from the Daedalus. But just after he reported in for his first Squadron Commander, he realized that the Commander’s Room was crowded with stacks of paper everywhere. Before he could pronounce his suprise, Major Repulsor stepped out from behind a two-meter high stack of file boxes.
- A helluva day to start here, Sub-Lieutenant! As you might notice, the situation here is currently quite unordinary. I have a computer breakdown, and administrative workflow has jammed. I just hope that I can handle it before our Wing Commander and administrative supertalent Gilbert H. Frown notices. Anyhow, welcome to Kappa Squadron, and the Emperor’s Hammer Fleet. Follow the black droid behind you, drop your stuff in your quarters, and briefing is in the hangar bay in 5 minutes!
SQUADRON NEWS
Welcome to this week’s Squadron Report! I will cover two weeks in this report, with many big headlines:
- SL Clevin joins squadron, promoted to LT
- CM Hawkins has 3 new missions released, awarded 3 Medal of Tactics
- New medal Legion of Skirmish introduced with new Cooperative Multiplayer reporting and kill board
- New Pilot’s Manual has been released
- Kappa Race to 40 ends in a last-minute winning effort
- Kappa citations of the rise
I am proud to report great news that we have a new member: SL Clevin, who has quickly earned his first promotion to LT, and began to scale the TIE Corps mountains with 7 missions completed! Furthermore, our CM Hawkins had his 3 missions released by the Tactical Office, earning the same amount of MoT-gh!
Meanwhile, CM Len Eode took over the command of Sigma Squadron. LC Plif stepped down as Combat Operations Officer Assistant, and has been honored with the Silver Star of the Empire. Congratulations to the shipmates!
As last year’s winner of the Flagship title, the Warrior is now beginning the last straight before Raise the Flag 2015!
Fleetwide changes have also been made. A new Pilot’s Manual is up. The FCHG and Combat Rating rules amd classification have changed and cooperative MP matches are now rewarded by Legion of Skirmish (LoS) medals. Read the detailed rules in the News section of the TC homepage and the latest TCCOM Report.
The Commodore has announced the COM Protector competition, which is a high-score hunting one, adding one point per mission high score earned. Bonus points are offered for knocking down a Hammer pilot from his/her HS (+1), with an extra point if the HS holder is HA Anahorn Dempsey (+2).
Warrior Trivia continued with Weeks 11 & 12, with 4 participants in Week 11, and 2 in week 12 from our Squadron.
The TIE Corps on Patrol comp continues, missions for Week 12 have been announced. Don’t forget that the GoG TIE Fighter (Battle 5: Battle for Honor) competition is on. The Tactical Office awaits your scores in this until the end of May. TIE Fighter Battle 4 results are yet to be announced, although some medals were already awarded.
The Kappa Race to 40 competition has finished. CM Hawkins managed to overtake me and break the goal, while the others have just stayed outside the 40% threshold for an IS-BW. Better luck next time!

The Black Panther revisited historic missions at Mylok IV in TIE Fighter Battle 4.

Recommended competitions: AD Woody is organizing his trademark TIE Corps on Patrol competitions! Have a break, fly a free mission! Week 10 has been announced: TIE-free 253, XvT-free 201 and XWA-free 123 are this week’s subjects. Don’t forget to forward the Tactical Office confirmation mail to the TCCOM!
Sin CMDR LC Plif continues Warrior Trivia Season 2 with Week 13!
Also, the Tactical Office is running the GoG competition. In May, TIE Fighter is about Battle 5: Battle for Honor.
